I had the same experience back in the late 90's, when the Collector Fleet ships came out I was excited because they were Star Wars versions of what Star Trek had with electronic ships, a guy at Yakface hated them and was so adamant about hating them that any differing opinion was met with borderline stalking behavior. He actually got me kicked off of I think it was Sir Steve's Guide chat server just because I wouldn't change my opinion of the ships plus I voiced my opinion that I thought the whole argument was ridiculous and I guess someone tattle taled on me lol. As it turns out, I was right. They were popular and later worth hundreds of dollars and still are worth good money. Eat shit Yakface, I think his name was Mark or Marc something.

Filament's not that expensive, I printed a Black Series scale AT-ST for about $90 of filament. Those also needed more dense than you would make a playset for load bearing reasons. I could have used a cheaper filament for half the price.

I've watch Fandom Menace WCB dude's videos showing what's at Ollies, $4 Classified Sgt Slaughter, TVC Echo Base Troopers, things the Ollies here didn't get or was instantly all scooped up by probably resellers. Even the Retro selection collection here sucked.

I do wish they'd somewhat taken a page from their Hoth and Endor Rebel Troopers for this rerelease, and added some extra heads (and heck, maybe even extra necks and hands, if they included one or more heads of differing skin color) so you can avoid the Alderaanians having their own clone army when buying multiples of this army-building pack.

Captain rex was on amazon ( from amazon ) at retail just now. I keep coming across older expensive characters being reissued for modern retail 24.99 on amazon . Seen also Com.Fox ,000 ,bt1. Id keep an eye on there there's probably more Hasbro random reissues in the future.
