I'm not sure if I'm totally sold on the 6" line yet because we haven't seen if the figures will be easy to collect or a pain the butt to collect. But darn that 6" Storm Trooper does make it tempting.

I assume it's because this is a very early prototype. I expect we'll see a much better sculpt closer to its release.

Hasbro's official image releases are always of hand painted prototypes.

I don't think the angle on the Luke figure helps the look. I'll still be picking these up, Star Wars at a 6" scale is a dream come true.

It has taken about 10 years, but they are almost done with all of Jabba's skiff people. I think there are 3 left??? The white guy behind luke on the skiff in black helmet with teeth on it( there is a black guy wearing the same outfit during the Rancor scene) , and 2 guys on the skiff Luke jumps over to that Pote Snitkin is driving.

I'm only buying a Jedi Luke, Dark Empire Luke, Medal Ceremony Luke, and Marvel Comics sleeveless Luke if they get made. Damn. I'm already in deep...

Who knows- they might do a 2 month pre-order via HTS like they're doing for series 1. If so, I'm putting in 3 orders for a total of 6 Stormies.

So, I've seen part of wave 1 in TRU & Target. Will these also be released to Walmart? I'm trying to figure out how wide a release these will see. BTW, I'm new to these forums, but I'm active at TFW2005 under the same handle. So, hello everyone!

Hmmm, from what I've seen in stores (after recent Walmart recets) and from what I've read online, it looks as though Walmart opted to skip on carrying the 6" Black Series line.

I found them in Walmart in Canada. So it's highly likely US Walmarts will get them as well. Two bucks less a figure at Walmart too.

Just got back from my "bigger" Walmart that tends to carry more toys than other local Wallys (for example, there's only two out of 6 or 7 "local" Walmarts that carry Marvel Legends or DC Unlimited).

They HAVE Batman Classic TV series figures, Star Wars 3.75" Black, kept a spot for Marvel Legends, but no spot for Star Wars 6" Black. Very sad.

I have observed that as well at all of my local WMs.

Black Series 6" figures are unfortunately not on their current/new planogram. The only brick & mortar stores carrying them AFAIK are K-Mart, Target and TRU. I know for sure there are sightings from the former 2. I've only seen them at Target so far.

Stormtrooper, Bespin Luke and Ep 3 Anakin.

That's an interesting lineup for series 3, but not near as exciting as 1 or 2. Wonder who the fourth figure will be? I would love to see more creatures like a jawa 2-pack or Bossk.

I am surprised that Vader and 3PO have yet to be added to a wave, unless they are going to use them to keep the line interesting for later down the line.

Yeah, I've seen them at TRU and Target. Our lone Target has stocked them, one set at-a-time, on three different occasions already in the span of two weeks.

Don't you mean Ep 3 Obi Wan?

I will eventually try to get Bespin Luke, as he was part of my wish list. But the Black Series is on my back burner at the moment. Hopefully, when I've the extra funds for them, I will still be able to pick them up at retail.
