These actually look pretty neat. Here are B.O.B., V.I.N.CENT, and Maximilian from Super7's ReAction line.

Interesting. These actually look ok. Shaped cardbacks are different.

Never understood how a figure that was actually released back in the day can be a 'Re-action' figure though, as I understood the line was supposed to be figures made in the style of older figures for characters who were never made at the time.

They just copy the vintage look. These are not the actual Mego molds.

Sure I get that, what I mean is, I thought the idea behind the original ReAction figures was that they were making characters who never got figures back in the day. So, when Super 7 make Dune action figures for instance, the idea that 'this is what they would have been like back in the day' doesn't really work because they were made back in the day. I see it more (now - since they started doing anything and everything from the past regardless of whether the IP had toys in the past) as more of a simple '5POA'/'Basic articulation' line rather than a truly retro line. A bit like Hasbro's odd Legends 3.75 line with its 'Kenner' branding, even though Kenner made super heroes back in the day, and they looked nothing like what Hasbro has done with their line.

These look decent for ReAction figures. My girl has the DST Black Hole figures that came out a few years ago, and those are pretty sweet.

Yeah, when these were originally announced I figured it'd be a tough sell for all three at around $60 when those superior Diamond figures can still be found for around that price.
But these do look pretty good...Maxamillian even has some shading going on. I think the Mego fig was only bare plastic with some vac metal bits. So better than Mego at least, imo.

Yeah, they are. My only nitpick is the silver paint chips on Max and the clear stands are a bit weak.

I am going to have a hard time not buying these.
I love The Black Hole so much.
It traumatized me as a kid, but I still loved it even back then.

Anthony Perkins getting shredded by Maximilian was the big traumatizing scene for me as a kid.
