The initial proto pics of this figure didn't have me sold, proportions looked off, among other issues. Now this looks way better, brighter colors and better everything really. Just pre-ordered, this looks really great now.

Looks great but that release date is pretty much insane from all viewpoints. By June-September next year we will be well into the Infinity War toys from multiple companies including import figures that are just as high quality. There gonna have to do a lot more than (better than Legends but still iffy)web wings and 3xHS to keep people interested, Im just saying.

Valid and fair point, I am sure Mezco wonders/worries about these kinds of things. As do a lot of toy manufacturers who produce products based on source material like this. Hot Toys for example, often puts out figures from a movie that was released anywhere from 6 months ago and beyond which is often well past the peak interest for whatever the figure is based on. My attitude as a collector is: If I like the product and the source material it's based on, that feeling won't change waiting for the figure to be released.

Yea, it sucks that both the Mezco and Hot Toys Spider-Man homecomings are coming out next summer or later, same for Guardians Hot Toys coming out half a year later than I think they should, so are plenty of the SH Figuarts and other figure lines I collect. Just seems to be the nature of the industry, waiting for license approval, designs change at the source and therefore have to be changed at the toy end and that just pushes everything back. More insane is that Mezco showed off figures before this one, that still don't even have a release date. Where the heck are those?

IDK Whats going on tbh. The fact that they still have a large dedicated following is a testament to the quality of the figures, because lesser lines that had these problems died very quickly, just look at DC Icons. Hopefully they can get their stuff toegether and get some of these guys shipped because even figures this good may not be worth waiting a year for for everyone. Not to mention they are $80 a pop. What it is showing me is that they care about shipping quality figures over hitting a deadline, and thats a very good thing, make no mistake. Its just... they need to work something out because with import companies improving its not gonna be such a clear difference in quality for long.

i already have a Spiderman Homecoming figure... why should i need to get another?

i know its going to be a year away before i even get it but the reason im getting it is to support the company. this is a company who made a prototype, and before you know, released a newer figurine with a smaller figure base that doesnt look to puffy with the clothes material on the outside... I respect that... here's a company that actually listens to consumers... unlike DC Collectibles who have yet to have a nice Superman with a decent Neck articulation for flight poses... and why does the new Justice League Superman looks like he's Tanned or Hispanic? shouldnt it look like Henry Cavill?

waiting for Ghostbusters from Mezco and a Movie Deadpool and Movie Thanos...for 2018... then James Bond 2019... thats my mezco wishlist
