Looks like going forward they won't be doing pre-orders anymore if this presentation is anything to go by. They probably got tired of giving a date and having the stuff show up in stores way before then.

The head of the new Clone Trooper is not that bad, but I personally think the generic Temuera Morrison head sculpt for the VC45 mold is better than it.

Also nice to see Starkiller and Howzer be reissued, with Howzer being named with his on-screen name. Which for the latter figure, will likely mark the last time we ever see the VC45 buck, which means Hasbro will have to redo all the Clone Troopers with the new VC Clone buck.

So Far Hasbro is getting none of my money from these recent reveals. Gotta hope the MCU stuff is good later

Can we make it official now that Darth Vader is the Optimus Prime of the Black Series line? Cause Maroon VI Adam Levine version is great, but then they also went and redid Redemption Vader too in the same quarter?

Redemption Vader is TVC. Now I'm not entirely disagreeing with your overall point but at the same time it is Darth Vader so we should expect him to be a regular presence. I'd actually be more annoyed if Vader wasn't an easy to get part of the line.

So I know that Starkiller is pretty pricey these days but come on. They couldn't be bothered to make a new one? It's not even that great of a figure to begin with. Hell if they're redoing older figures again I'd rather get a rerelease of the Evolutions 3-pack from the first game.

Happy to see Mando's new ship though. Definitely want to pick that up.

The vintage collection showing was pretty good.

The black series was a bit disappointing .

Star Wars merch is so oversaturated, it's lost all excitement for me.

I really thought Black Series CW Ahsoka would go up to day, to the point of moving a meeting so I could be free at 1 PM. Never be optimistic I guess.

I don't buy a ton of Star Wars stuff, but there was nothing in this set of reveals for me. I wanted to see Ahsoka and the BS Phase II Clone Trooper and instead they showed a TVC version. That was kind of amusing.

I wonder when that Ahsoka will be put up for preorder. It's one of the few figures (that I reasonably expect them to make) that I'm still excited for.

It's unfortunate, but not surprising that hasblo removed Vader's eyebrows. Still though, there are some decent figures shown. Except for that god-awful TBS Vader. That's an exclusive they can KEEP IMO. JFC.

Lucasfilm removed Vader's eyebrows not Hasbro.

No shit, Sherlock. At lucasfilm's direction, hasblo didn't put them on the figure. It was one of many unnecessary not-so-special edition changes.

Jesus, that has to be the DUMBEST reply I've had in years.

Lmao sorry if that spoils your weirdly vitrolic anti-Hasbro narrative but Hasbro didnt remove anything. You do know what a style guide is, right?

I guess he should get points for not only defecating on Hasbro, but also defecating on Star Wars.
I'm not sure if the hatred is for Lucasfilm Star Wars or Disney Star Wars.
Something is telling me both.

Two things:
A. The response is not dumb at all. It's a pragmatic explanation of how things work.
2. The vitriol is disproportionate to said response.
III: Has there ever been a Star Wars figure of Darth Vader with a removeable helmet in which he had eyebrows?
Ever?
Are you holding out hope that one day... just one day there will be?
Maybe get a Sharpie.

You're an idiot. Yes, there was a figure with eyebrows in 1999 in the POTF2 collection. There is also a Sideshow 6th scale figure with eyebrows, released many years after lucas' unnecessary tinkering. I was surprised, and happy, that they got away with it. And for the record, I "defecate" on what Star Wars has become, and for what happened to the OT, starting with lucas in 1981 and on to 1997 and disney. Yeah, I'm old, so I'll yell at the clouds if I want to.

Hmm, just noticed a detail the Black Series Jesse figure got wrong: he should have the normal Phase II helmet (aka rounded top ridge and smooth, rounded area around chin mic thing), but they've reused the "prototype" Phase II ARC Trooper helmet from Echo (protruding Phase I-style fin and angled area around chin mic thing). Not a huge deal, but annoying. I'm guessing they wanted to keep the viewfinder without having to make a new sculpt, or even just modify the existing Phase II helmet sculpt with a hole for the viewfinder.

EDIT: wait a second, I just realized Jesse isn't even supposed to have a viewfinder at all. They literally could've just used the existing normal Phase II helmet sculpt but they used the wrong thing outright. It looks like they also made this mistake on the TVC figure of him?? Still not a massive deal but a weird, easily-avoidable mistake.

I'm not certain that my lacking a recollection of merchandise in which Darth Vader has eyebrows is evidence that I am an idiot.

I could have looked it up, but I preferred to ask on this forum because I (usually) enjoy the discourse.

You don't like what Star Wars has "become" since 1981?
You think Star Wars took a wrong turn literally four years after its inception?
And here you are 42 years later with Darth Vader as your avatar proclaiming your dislike of Star Wars, Lucas, Lucasfilm, Disney, Hasbro and the members of this forum.
Seems like there's a disconnect somewhere.

Vader's eyebrows ? lol That is such a nit picking. I have been into Star Wars for almost 31 years and i am not sure, if Vader had eyebrows in the OT... lol
