I don't really like it being called a "Sith" trooper since the real Sith are long gone at this point in the timeline, but they probably won't even use that name in the film, if they even appear in the film at all.

Did you miss the trailer? Darth Sidious plays a part in the film. You hear his laughter at the end, and Ian McDirmand was confirmed to be back. So Sidious either survived the fall, cloned himself, or is an evil force ghost.

I prefer Jarjar over Baby Annie. That kid was insufferable. If Disney wants to get on the good graces of the fandom, they should redo the prequal movies. No Midichlorians, no annoying Baby Annie, and make an anniversary edition of the Holiday Special hosted by Jarjar.

Late teens/early 20’s anakin was not much better. I almost wanted kid annie. At least he wasnt some angry emo kid,....ya know.....yet haha.

The name "Sith trooper" most likely just means that they are troopers who serve the Sith and not proper Sith serving as troopers. In this case "Sith" refers to a faction and is an adjective.
