I know there are cultural differences and all at play, but why is chun li so... endowed? Like, I can't display this in public, It's like the shelf of human skulls.

So... It's just Morrigan then? I literally cannot see one thing that makes this Chun-Li (besides the proportions, but that can just be artistic interpretation)

I think it is just supposed to be Morrigan with the same pose as the Chun Li statue they revealed earlier...

It's Chun-Li in her special Morrigan outfit from Street Fighter V. She looks the part, enough that you could just say that this is just a Morrigan statue, but one big distinction is that she is clearly in a pose that is certainly not the real Morrigan's fighting style (if arguably there is even such a thing as a "real" Morrigan in the actual non-spin off Street Fighter universe).

See this is the quality response I hope for! I still see it as just Morrigan but I get the reasoning behind it now!

I'd say 9 times out of 10 anyone who sees this on your shelf will just say "hey, cool Morrigan", which I think is the point of why they decided to make this.

"Morrigan doing a Chun-Li pose" would have been a better product title instead.

If it was actually supposed to be Morrigan, then yes. But it's officially Chun Li wearing Morrigan's Costume, as explained in the news story.
