I like the D-Arts line, it's like SH Figuarts for video game characters. I also LOVE a certain fighting game called TEKKEN. Been a fan since the 2nd game. I have fond memories of seeing the 1st game in arcades and how difficult it was, to the easier transition to Tekken 2 and 3.

I've wanted decent figures of them. Yes Square Enix makes a few Play Arts Kai Tekken figures but I'm not too big on predominantly PVC figures. I think D-Arts might be a more appealing venue for Tekken.

Thoughts?

They should, much like the King of Fighters line. I'm not sure if they'll make the figures in the same 5-inch scale, but I'd still buy them! Also the one problem with D-Arts/ShFiguarts, they need to release more figures, instead of 1 every 8-9 months. So far we just have Terry Bogard from KoF, where's the other characters?!

I'd gladly pick up a D-Arts Baek, Hwoarange or Yoshimitsu if they ever got made. And this coming from a guy who has never owned a single Figuart (or any sub-line thereof). It's not that I don't like them, it's that normally I can't afford to collect them in addition to all the other stuff I collect.

But for Tekken figures, I'd make an exception. Tekken 2 is one of my all-time favorite fighting games - right up there with Tekken 3, TTT, MK2, SSF2 Turbo, and the MvC series. There's also another game that had insane finishers, but the name escapes me. It came out in the 90's, had 100-hit combos as finishing moves, and was available on all platforms at the time (though Nintendo's SNES version gave the player the option to censor the blood).

Yep. I would love a Fulgore figure.

I would be so down with Tekken D-Arts. Specifically King, I'd love a Tekken 2 version of King. I'd love Armor King also, but I'd want most characters from the history of the game.

Me too! I hope they do decide to make them! The only problem with D-Arts/ShFiguarts is that they only release 1 figure every few months.

LOL. Yeah it was one of my favorite games growing up. There was also a sequel for N64.

Why do you say the PAK figures are "predominantly PVC"? They have a very wide range of realistic movement, they're just... fragile. So one might not want to move them too much, I guess?

I saw Kazuya and Jun in my LCS last Wednesday, and talk about way overpriced. No where near the amount of extras MGR Raiden has and they were only $5 less. Funk that.
