Batman: the Brave and the Bold debuted on Cartoon Network on November 14th of this year. It's a little different then the recent Batman series, as it is a little lighter in tone. But the animation is nice and the stories are fun, almost in the vein of the old superfriends cartoons. In each episode Batman teams with other superheroes for a mission. So far on the show we have seen (The new)Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Plastic Man and Fire.

As expected Mattel is putting out a line of Toys to go with it. The toys have interesting look to them with weapons that snap on and there are some great vehicles too like the the Blue Beetles' Beetle Bug.

Take a look and post your thoughts

Batman: Brave and the Bold

Another line with Gentleman Ghost! That's awesome!

Interesting picks for team-ups. I'm looking forward to the Plastic Man ep.

Wonder what scale these are in.
It's already a gurantee that I'm getting Blue Beetle and Gentleman Ghost

I'd guess they will be around the size of The Batman figures.

The cartoon has been really good and refreshing. It's nice to see a cartoon involving Batman that's alittle light-hearted and fun.

Man, Gentleman Jim must have some ungentlemanly pictures of somebody. Three releases in the next few months? My mind, it boggles.

I've gotta laugh at Atom's Atom Flail and Batman's Face Missile. ("My face... IN YOUR FACE!!")

The Beetle's Bug looks pretty cool. Might have to buy a vehicle for the first time in a while.

Is that supposed to be Guy Gardner on the top right of the first "Basic Figures" pic?

Despero looks cool -- old-school sideways fin FTW!

No one gets knees, though.

While Guy Gardner is in the intro to the new show, I believe the guy you refer to is someone called the Sportsman.

I would like very much to see this show, but I don't have cable, and they don't appear to be on youtube.

Haven't seen the show but I do like the look of the toys. I see what you mean, the first thing I thought of when I saw them was Superfriends.
