Hey all...Just curious as to know...They are currently building a super wal-mart in our town thats due to open in May. Has anyone else noticed when a super wal-mart is close to being done, do some or most of the toys (marvel toys, transformers, etc.) in the old walmart go way down in price?...or stay the same and move on to the super wal-mart? Thanks!

I've never experienced them closing one store to open a bigger one. Around here they just convert Walmarts into supercenters. (There are no normal walmarts left now)

OH WAIT! They did do that one time, over ten years ago they shut down one and built a supercenter across the street.
If memory serves me, I think they did reduce and clearance *some* (not all) of the stock. (That in no way means yours will)
There will likely be aone or two weeks where the old store will close down while they're moving everything to the new one.
And believe me, you *will* know when the supercenter will open ahead of time.

Yeah, they are building a super wal-mart only about 2-3 miles down the road and we only have about 6,000 people in our town. Wasn't for sure how the whole process worked...thanks!

Yes, in my area a lot of stuff was marked down. Wasn't by a lot so it didn't go anywhere, but my Walmart is terrible anyways, small or big.

Same here, even hit up a Super Center Walmart carried no MU figures...was sadden by the sight =(
