I guess blind boxes are only on Mad Matty Mondays.

I might get another BGEL and some more PGs. The very slight discount hasn't won me over though.

He-Man and She-Ra. Those 2 are musts for me. 30% off is pretty much like free shipping to Canada.

I don't get how that sale works. You have to register to get the savings, right?

You have to register to make a purchase, so it would auto do that for you during checkout. You're not really signing up for any unwanted crap or anything.

Gotcha. I might consider picking something up, I'd like to get a 12 in. Peter Venkman. Is the shipping horribly expensive?

It's pretty reasonable--you'd probably be looking at something in the $9 range for one of those. The default at checkout uses "Logistics," which will probably be about $3-4 cheaper than UPS Ground. Ground is track-able and will take almost half the time, but Logistics is fine (people just like to bitch) too.. just don't waste your time trying to track with them.

No prob! Congrats on Hordak (FINALLY!). Just got my Hordak (FINALLY!!) and contrary to my first post, I went and picked up Slimeblower Ray too.

Oh, and here's a wee excerpt from my order for anyone who'd like some kind of heads-up on shipping, tax, etc. (UPS Ground by the way, USPS/Cornerstone Logistics would be on par with what Vader wrote up there)

P4013 Hordak™ Figure 1 $19.80 10%
T5819-9993 6" Ray with Slime Blower 1 $19.80 10%

SubTotal: $39.60
Shipping & Handling: $13.85

Tax: $3.40
Total: $56.85
Discount: $4.40

Too late now but I hope you picked up a Teela, too. And possibly Scareglow, those two are a bitch to find. Got Demo-man (missed him the first time) and Battle Armor Skeletor which are the only two MOTUC figures I don't have.

BTW, I don't know what gimpy postal service they're using, but if you choose the cheapest to Canada, it can take well over a month for you to get your items. The first time this happened to me, I thought they lost my package. Then another time, I got my order in about two weeks, but they split my order into two boxes so I ended up waiting over a month for part 2 (which I thought had been lost in transit). I'm still waiting on my order from January 24th and my other order with Fisto, Sorceress and Fearless Photog and then a third order with my subscription Voltron Red Lion with Lance. Still, I will not ship UPS no matter how long it takes. They're total thieves. Last time, they tried to ding me for $70 in duties two $100 items. When I faxed them my form to pay, rather than billing me, someone there stole my credit card and booked a flight on it. Never again.

This is the second time I've struck out on Teela.. the old school version, not the BG version.

I had her in my cart too.. so close.

Now watch them put more of her up at some random hour next week for 50% off.

Eh fuck it, I'll just buy Vikor off eBay. No many horror stories and probably best that I do not spend any money.

Heh funny, this happened to me on Cyber Monday when I tried to get Orko. On a positive note, I just got a package I was eagerly anticipating and it was full of the last MOTUs that I needed to complete the entire set (aside from the ones I'm still waiting for from Matty). It basically consists of the figures I told myself I wasn't going to buy mainly because they had little to do with old school MOTU: Keldor, Count Marzo, Chief Carnivus. The other two, however, have a lot to do with vintage MOTU's rich history: He-Ro aaand WUN-DAR!!! Man this loaf of Eternian Wonderbread rocks.

LOL Man, I'm in the same boat as you! I just bought both Keldor and Chief Carnivus. They were the only two figures that were on sale today that I didn't have, and honestly never thought I would buy because they aren't associated with the original line. What can I say, I caved.

Congrats on scoring Wun-Dar! I'm still trying to get my hands on him. He-Ro is surprisingly awesome. I still don't know if I'll ever buy Count Marzo. What do you think about him? I ended up buying Faceless One off eBay for real cheap and he's easily my least favorite figure of the entire line. I'm afraid Marzo would join him in that category.

EDIT: I would like to add that I directly blame Optimus Vader for my current MOTUC addiction. Damn you!!!! (shakes fist)

I'd say go for it. He's actually pretty cool looking and although he's based on 200x, he fits in surprisingly well. It's almost just as well that they went with his 200x look as if they went with his Vintage look, he would've worn some fruity yellow Shakespearean number. Picture King Randor with yellow and black armor instead of red and gold. Plus that jewel with the clutched hand is sweet. He features multiple new armor pieces which makes him very good value for money considering he's usually one of the cheaper guys. Definitely do not hesitate on buying him if you have the chance. I'd say out of all the guys, Faceless One, the entire New Adventures line and Carnivus are probably the ones that fit in the least. He-Ro rocks, though he looks like Wilson from House, M.D. on roids. Wun Dar was pricey but worth every penny.

Funny you say that, Optimus Vader is actually the one who sold me my first He-man figure. LOL. I think he's secretly working for Matty. Look at him play us for fools with his made up Teela sob story... "I missed her again, had her in my cart!" he says.

Sorry for the gateway photos and figures, guys. That's pretty funny. Ludo, I'd say we're about even since I now own enough plastic buildings to probably mimic a mini NYC in my living room now because of your sick dios.

Tiberius, I'll say this... they are (in my opinion) THE BEST collectors action figure line on the market today. I'm talking better than Legends, better than DCUC, etc. So, they're worth it to me, but at the same time you're opening Pandora's box. You will not be able to control yourself. Well, maybe you can, but my point is they're very nice... and just about every figure comes with a nice selection of accessories. I think you'd appreciate them and want more is what I'm saying.

I honestly don't even remember watching the cartoon when I was little. But I still have my original figures back in my parents basement and besides TMNT they were my toys of choice when I was little. I used to have his sword and ran around the house yelling "I have the power!" according to my mother.

So it would be nostalgia for me. But even though I know very little about MOTU, I know if I bought one, I'd need them all.
