I thought I would start a thread about this subject. I collect 6 inch figures, and I love set pieces, dioramas, and playsets for them, but they seem to be somewhat hard to find. I thought it would be a good idea for us all to chip in our knowledge on this subject. I'll start. The new Gotham figures come with fantastic alleyway pieces: |

The TMNT Lair set is good as well. If you have patience/skill to touch up the colors a bit, the street level works really well. Also, if you don't mind haveing static/flat backdrops, then check out Toy Stages. they do stuff for many size classes. Toy Stages

Unfortunately outside of wrestling arenas, 6" dios and playsets seem to be very hard to come by, at least in my experience! I've had to resort to teaching myself how to make my own, and if it's too complex commission people on figurerealm.

They're kind of rare, but they're definitely out there. This thread is a great resource, the more we all add to it. Punisher with alleyway display. |

Web swinging Spiderman. This one is particularly awesome as it comes with a crosswalk sign and newspaper stand. |

Oh man, I thought the only way to get the MJ billboard was through that Spider-Man 2 gift pack thing from Sears... Another good diorama piece is the water tower that came with one of those crummy Spidey variations( it has one of those "shoot and fall apart" features but it looks pretty nice)

				 | Quote: Gordon comes with the base of the alleyway, and Selina comes with the catwalk, so you just need those two. (Although later this year Bullock is being released with another piece that has a dumpster). The figures will run you about $25 if I am correct. Now, important note! Toys R Us sells versions of these figures that DON'T come with the display bases. So if you want the bases, you'll have to shop elsewhere. |

If you want to track down the second series of Diamond Select Munsters (the Hot Rod Series) you can put together this cool big staircase. I got them for half off retail a while back and sold off the figures loose and kept the stairs. The stairs only ended up costing me about 10$ http://www.artasylum.com/wp-content/...Staircases.jpg They are made for select figures, so stuff from them or the standard NECA stuff in the 7 inch scale, but I think they work ok for Marvel Legends. |

Yeah, but they didn't. So how do I know if the ones I buy from Amazon come with the diorama pieces?

				 | Quote: Yeah, I noticed that which is good because they really should show the picture of what the figure comes with. I ordered him and Selina because I figured I'm not going to find them for much cheaper than $18 a piece. Plus, I'm sure I can find someone who will buy the two figures on their own for $10 each. I've got Gordon right now, been meaning to get Selina but tight on funds. You should post a pic of the completed diorama when it arrives! |
