I can't say I'm surprised. I guess I'm a little miffed thats is just a new head and necklace, but oh well I'm definitely getting him.

I really hope that they do the normal Akuma kanji 天 on his back instead of this Shin Akuma one. Be nice to see a Third Strike variant with the white temples or white gi.

In SF5 the heaven symbol doesn't appear on his back. Instead it's this one. So apparently (According to Storm) this figure not only has a new head, hands, necklace and gi but also has a newly sculpted chest and improved lower body articulation.

they really just coulda releaseed the heads and glowing shirt as an accessory kit for flower power akuma. Even so soooooooooo ordered.

I mean I like Ryu as much as the next person, but COME ON do someone else for once. I know this was shown at SDCC, along with a new Ken, but I'm really getting tired of Ryu figures. Atleast this one has new hair, and new facial expressions, but the rest of the figure is exactly the same mold as the other 15 Ryu's lol.

Lol I swear I'm not a moron haha, yeah I'm gonna have to eventually pick him up, hopefully they make a couple versions of Dahlsim would love to pose my two faves duking it out, Blanks would be cool as well, especially a toxic green translucent variant, I'm a sucker for translucent.

This head looks so tiny. They should've made new bodies for the SFII figures. Or at least made the head bigger. The sculpt is there, just doesn't look right on the body.

True but to be fair, the Bengus artwork that this is based on has similar proportions. I wonder how Storm is going to pull of Guile tho cause his head looks even smaller than Ryu's in the artwork.

Because they can reuse lots of parts from past figures while offering relatively new additions to the SF2 line up.

I'm with you, I think their faces look...a little dopey maybe?

Gratz to those who are psyched for them, but to my eye these are the worst Ryu and Ken that Storm has produced.

As Much as I enjoy Storm Products them releasing another Ryu and Ken is feeling like their MK line where they just release Ninja repaint after Ninja Repaint.... I'm not complaining about how great they look because I love just about everything they have released I'm just starting to fatigue with the same characters over and over.

I'm not going to lie as soon as I saw an update on this thread I clicked with excitement only to see Ken...again...

Once Guile is here and perhaps Sagat I will be taking a breather from the line. I don't plan on having the entire original 12, but I am excited to see some of the other characters get their chance.

I think Dhalsim and Honda might be some of the coolest figures once they are revealed simply because Storm does Hulking bodies really well and we have yet to see a small frame (Dhalsim) from them and I think it could turn out pretty unique.

Love that Violent Ken! Even love the Street Fighter II proportions better then 5 since they aren't that realistic only thing I don't understand is why the made the Violent Ken bloody head have orange blood than red?.

My cousin joked he had taco sauce spilled over his face lol just looks odd which I hope they fix that.
