That is an awesome Scorpion and a great shoot!!! I'm guessing is a bit taller than the Mezco MKX one? How does he stack up height-wise to other import figures???

Yes, taller than the Mezco ones. Almost 7" tall, so taller than Marvel Legends or SH Figuarts.

Scales great with diamond select 1/12 figures and D.C. Direct.

Awesome pics! These are so cool! I have Reptile and Shao Kahn preordered (gifts from others) but I may need to shell out some money for Scorpion. That skull head sculpt is so badass!

Thanks! Shao Kahn is going to be the tipping point for a lot of people I think. It'll be a hard figure to resist.

After the joke that was the Jazzware Kahn, I know the latest preview pics of Storm's Kahn got me to fully invest it the line. That Kahn looks amazing

i keep looking at this line and trying to resist...ha..
i mean i KNOW i'm getting shao kahn..
i dont really want 4 ninjas all painted diff colors...maybe i'll grab one or two of em..
i just can't justify yet ANOTHER line....expensive at that.
but some of the poses i;ve seen them in are sick..

He's my favorite MK character, so that was an easy sale. You're right though, I have invested in every MK line only to be disappointed with lack luster lineups or more modern characters and designs. I usually end up selling them, especially Jazwares.

These MK figures are legit, I have Scorpion and SZ already and Noob just shipped from BBTS. I hope we start to see more shown from Tekken. Been hoping and praying for quality Tekken figures in a 1/12 scale for so long...Storm Collectibles appears to be the answer!

I just got my Noob yesterday and he doesn't disappoint! The blood effects are a nice addition with him. Now I'm just waiting on getting this KO fire effect (hoping it's a decent quality since the original Tamashii one goes for way too much now) considering getting the Tamashii blue wave effect for Sub Zero to maybe enhance how his ice slide pose looks. The one knock for that figure is his ice slide effect is very...small.

Tried Barnes and nobles for the fire effect? My local BN always have two or three in stock for $24

The only downside to the Storm figures is that Storm really doesn't seem to enjoy sticking to release dates. Reptile is due this month, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't see a full release until October or later. Which is really detrimental for when Kahn drops

Yeah I've got a huge pile of loot sitting around and have to ship by Sept 25th. I really hope he gets released by then or I may cancel and reorder at a later time to combine his shipping with other stuff. I don't have anything coming from BBTS until the end of the year.

I think i'm going to wait on the next versions of Sub-Zero and Scorpion to release before i grab those.
