Thundercats Ultimates Wave 6 Toy Color Variants Revealed, Pre-Orders Live

And actually, looks like it was pulled from S7 and retailers didn't put em up at 3. Stay tuned.

Does anyone know if Super 7's license includes Thundercats 2011?

Neat idea, I like articulated versions of toys that retain their vintage look but uh, is this really the time? I think most TC fans would prefer the team being finished before variants.

I think Lion-O and Mumm-Ra look great. Theres some accessories that im shocked they dont come with tho.
On a side note, just got a refund for my tygra that had a qc issue. Im assuming s7 is losing quite a bit of $ on wave 2. Was told they had numerous complaints and they're not even taking the figures back with the refund.

I really like the looks of these. Kind of wish Mummra had a recolored “normal” head too.

The torso on that Cheetara looks shortened and the figure looks stumpy AF compared to the cartoon version. If they're trying to do the vintage figures justice, this ain't it. If anything the vintage figure of her has very short arms.

And if this recolor version is what we can expect of the delayed cartoon version, I'm cancelling my preorder. I don't care if I can't complete the team; I'm not buying consistently subpar figures from a company that can't even get their prototypes to mass market versions without major alterations to basic shit like body proportions.

I hate to defend Super7 after their Teela, Sorceress, and She-Ra crushed my soul, but we know what cartoon Cheetara looks like. We've seen the finished figure.

If you consider this stumpy then cancel, but they aren't holding back any information:

These, I like. I’m in for the “toy” accurate style.

I wonder why the delay.

I never even had any of these as a kid but Mumm-Ra is really enticing haha.

For Thundercats they pretty much have. Wave 5 is the only one that hasn't been produced since that went up recently, everything from 1-4 has been delivered except Cheetara which is on the water right now.

They need to get their quality control straight. The last waves have been plagued with QC issues and Grune has been terrible. I cancelled mine after seeing so many mishaps.

So did they like already run through doing toys of every single cartoon character? Even the Berserkers and Lunaticks? Because I don't see the point of these if they haven't.

They could've given them the same amount of accessories.

No, just no
What a shame this is called "Wave 6".
It's basically a complete different line.
Compared to MOTU Classics Ultimates and Club Grayskull these should have been a new series Wave 1.
Not sure what Super7 is thinking.

Small chance I might get a Lion-O.
I prefer vintage over these "updates" and prefer animated above all.

I've gotta speak up and say that I think these look very nice. I dislike many figures from other lines that distort or stylize or exaggerate the human form. These seem rather idealized, with very clean sculpts and joints that don't detract from overall appearance. I wish more toy manufacturers would try to adopt this philosophy. I feel tempted to buy some of these, even though I never watched Thundercats.

There are people who really do want the toy based figures, so that's the point. Not everything is for everyone.

I really don't get the outrage, it's one wave, it's not the end of the line. They said they're planning through Wave 10 right now, so another 16 figures.

It's kind of what they do anyway. Theyve done LJN homages for the reaction thundercats already, there was a toy deco voltron variant and maybe a couple of others. Also just makes it that much more obvious they're going to do toydeco versions of silverhawks eventually.
I see a lot of people saying they're going to pass on the entire wave so maybe, if anything, these should've been mixed in with the regular ongoing waves or even done as some kind of exclusive.

This looks fine. Better than the render of the vintage figure color version.

Already cancelled the preorder. Will just pick her up once reviews of the actual thing comes out. Shouldn't be hard to get anyways.

Outrage? o_O

I was just questioning their choices. Like why not split the wave instead? Have two of the figures based on the old toys (which honestly, I never liked even when I was 4 years old because Mumm-Ra didn't have a cape despite having one in the cartoon) and two from the cartoon.

Maybe? They're supposedly dropping two one-offs(not associated with any wave, likely con exclusives)this year. One is a preorder and the other is an immediate purchase. So it's likely one of them will be something they have a mold for already.
