I wonder who's after Blanka, they usually release these in twos. I guess we'll know early next year who number 10 is. Hopefully Vega or Bison.

Looks really good! Definitely plan on grabbing this. My issue with some of the Storm figures are the sculpts are off. Sagat specifically is very top-heavy, and wide and his arms are incapable of doing the poses correctly you would like him to do.

This figure looks to be the way to go for me.

I like him, but I know people are going to nitpick his size.

Only "issue" I have with either Sagat is they need a 2nd head with the eye patch on the other eye, so you can replicate the flipped sprite look. Silly, I know, but seriously would be a fun nostalgia nod.

He is a tad on the smaller size, since Sagat is supposedly almost 2 ft taller than Ryu, but as long as he's noticeably taller, I doubt most buyers will care. He'll fit in well with the other SHF SF2 characters.

I am not home, but just reuploading the official images. The Storm figure can't accurately replicate any of his signature frames from his signature moves. Which for me is the whole point. In terms of looking like Sagat? They do a great job of that, but not much else.

Sagat looks good, but that's not the Street Fighter V version of him.

I don't know, this looks pretty impressive.

It's a costume form Street Fighter V so it still kinda counts.

That's the same excuse Bandai uses to make these anyway, they licensed V but make classic appearances because those are available as costumes in the game.

Probably not supposed to be. Haven't seen the box yet. If you look at the boxes, they show whether a figure is based on a particular game or just the generic brand. Sakura and Ken are just labeled "Street Fighter" and aren't exactly a particular game. Blanka, Chun-Li, Rashid are specifically SFV, and the game's logo appears on the box.

Once Sagat's box is shown, we'll know which version it's supposed to be.

I mean, it's classic Sagat, which is indeed in SFV (as his nostalgia costume).

That's also his SFV stage in the backdrop.

Eh. It's still not the same pose. The arm is nowhere near extended out back far enough. His torso is completely straight up, and he looks to have no neck/shoulder articulation. Where as the Figuarts looks like I can get it exact. When I spend the money I do, posable is high on my list of *needs*. But that's just me. :P

I lerrrve the SHF street fighter collection. Storm looks good too but I'm just an SHF guy on this one. I just love the SHF so much its crazy!

I hope so much this line continues on for a long time.

I"M a TAD worried about the bicep cut...just noticed its pretty severe.

Storm Sagat can't do a proper Crouching Fierce. Based on the photos, the S.H.Figuarts one seems promising.

It’s the same pose, but this is an actual toy with real weight balancing on its toes. I actually find that pretty damn impressive. I’m sure the shf will be able to balance in all sorts of poses too, but neither will be able to recreate that exact pose and maintain balance.

I'm not saying the SC figure is bad. I'm saying when doing his iconic poses, it just can't replicate hem exactly.

If you can't see the differences I pointed out in that sprite and the figure posed on that reddit link, then I don't know what to say. And being able to balance a kicking pose is cool (still, it's not the exact pose), but meaningless when I pose my figures with stands anyway.

Shf won’t be able to do the exact identical pose either, since it’s fingers aren’t articulated to match, and his head won’t be able to extend and twist the way the sprite’s head is twisted. But for all intents and purposes, Storm managed to do the exact pose, without stand, which is impressive and I’m moving on. No more feeding the trolls. It’s approaching midnight.

Looks cool but very small for the monster is supposed to be.
I mean, Ryu is 1m75 and Sagat 2m26, the guy is supposed to be massive.
They did those kind of size differences in the DBZ line with Broly for exemple, so it's kind of a pitty to not have it here

Yea, what the hell is this? Since when is having a disagreement (mind you, I'm not saying anything disrespectful) cause one to be a troll?

You need to check yourself, bub.

Looks like they just did the scale based on lines of reference, not actual scale of size. The line is fom the top of ryu’s head to sagat’s chin. Looking at postures In the game, sagat is actually much taller, since his knees are bent and his shoulders and back are hunched slightly.

Again, I’m not sure how much this will bother the intended demographic, but it’ll definitely affect a SHF Zangief, who also hunches his shoulders.
