So Tiberius got Street Fighter X Tekken a few days ago. And I gotta say, that's the best fighting based game I've ever played. And when I say that, I mean it's better than Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 in my opinion. If you love games like that, and don't already have it, go get Street Fighter X Tekken. It's well worth it.
I also think this is a solid game to have an action figure line on. NECA already did Street Fighter IV (not a hell of a lot though), why not this one? |

I've been debating on whether or not I should pick this up. I've been playing A LOT of mass effect 3 lately. I think I'll pull the trigger on this one. Thanks for the info. I think they were also going to do tekken vs street fighter with the tekken engine. If they do, it should be at sdcc this year.

It's not that great imo... doesn't offer any single player content... no story mode, just a repetitive arcade mode with a slap story... online is on par with everything else, especially now that they fixed the sound bugs... not to mention the debacle with on disc dlc (greedy capcom)...
Truthfully, i think this is another one of Capcom's Ultimate Arcade Super editions...its basically SSFIV AE with new characters (from tekken) and minus a few favorites (Sakura, Blanka, Dudley, and a few new tekken characters etc) that will be added for 20$ as additional dlc. i would not recommend this for 60, i would wait for it to drop to 40, i'm sure you can find deals now that it's been out for a bit now. |

I really do prefer this over UMVC3. (Such a cheap spammy game and fuck Wesker...) Its a solid game that does have its own cool features and quirks, but I have to agree its a really fancied up SSFIV.
That being said its also very different from SSFIV. Its a little faster. Some of the mechanics don't work the way they would in SSFIV. Overall a great game, I'd wait for the price to drop a bit. Also the whole DLC fiasco is such bullshit. |

Come on now, since when did Street Fighter have a good story mode? It is a fighting game and IMO, the capcom fighting games really stick to the vs modes and online play. The first let down ending was going through SFII with Ryu and his ending is he shoruken's a waterfall?
MK is a different story though, that game did have a good single player story mode but I wasn't expecting the same for SF. I do want to try this game out though since I'm a fan of both franchises. I check it out at redbox for a couple of days until the price drops. |

Like any other fighting game it needs to hit the sweet spot of $20 or less before I bite. It's fun and all but just not something I'd consistently play to get better at.
Besides, I'll still hold out since DLC will just keep changing the game. Also PS3 version is the definitive of the two since exclusive characters (well if you want a larger roster of fighters). |

I miss the good ol Arcade days for these. I could play these better on there than the D-Pads:P
And actually some of these that are on the arcade I hate they way they milk it out of you by putting a timer on them. |
