Spotted this online. Man, I would be heartbroken. I'd probably be done collecting too.

Damn, aren't those Seiya figures expensive too? I'll be heartbroken.

I don't even want to imagine if this happened to me and my collection. By looks of it, stuff got damaged, and I would probably curl up into a ball and cry for hours.

I'd be in shock for an hour staring at it.

Then, I'd proceed to clean it up and see what survived(after pictures).

Depending on what was beyond salvageable and the cost of it in question. I'd either look into replacing them, or swear off collecting those ever again.

Oh! And you better damn well believe I'd be buying sturdier shelves so it wouldn't happen again.

Yeah, sturdy shelves are a must. I like the look of those style wood cabinets, but the usually lack decent weight support in the center. Right now I use those industrial snap together metal or heavy plastic shelves. When I eventually move into my next home (next year hopefully), I'm going to build out wall shelves.

Right now I use basic particle board white shelves with the metal pin brackets. They hold up pretty well, but eventually I want to look into plexi-glass or inlaid real wood shelves into the wall. I don't know. Depends where my collection ends up being allowed to be displayed later.

That typical space trade off that happens when you're trying to figure out how to juggle things so to speak.

it looks like there was too much weight on the top one it let go or one of the pins holding the shelf in place let go. Followed by a Domino effect top shelf landed on the second cauing it to collapse and so on... Although if you look carefully most of the shelf pins are in place, and if you look at one of the shelves it looks like it let go due to to little dents on the left side.
