Brian Flynn hypothesized in a recent interview that these could be going up to $75 ea by next year. So yeah, that would probably be it.

I would hope that part of that would be as properties get more niche and obscure and production runs get smaller... but no, definitely a material, labor and especially shipping issue.

That price and my inventory on what is in storage would tell me... Yeah, I have enough.

Yep. I believe this is why toy companies are pushing so much out right now. If the prices go where I believe they are going, I expect no less than half of collectors to quit all lines. I?m about done. I think 2022 will be my last year for most lines. They will feel complete.

A jump to $75?

Then again, much of that jump is more "we need to maintain our profit margin" than "this is costing us a ton more so we NEED to raise prices"

Like when Hasbro said earlier this year they were raising prices to maintain their 15% profit margin. Props to them for actually stating that to the consumer, but it's still a dick move.

And as more collectors leave, the prices will rise further because less items will be made and sell since demand will lessen. I believe it was Adam over at Galactic Hunter (who works for EE) who said he believes we're in a toy bubble that is gonna burst soon and the secondary market is gonna plunge hard, which will affect alot.

I think we're close to an action figure crash. Crazy prices, little to no kid interest, and too many exclusives. It's like comic books in the 90's again.

They got it right the first time with The Simpsons. Super7 does stuff that people have not already done. We have tons of versions of The Simpsons family. They will be done but not right away.

If they did I'd probably get them. But with what's been going on with cost and a possible one wave only situation, I think I will limit myself to just the Brain. I'd be in for (in addition to Minerva and the Nurse) Slappy the Squirrel, Mr Skullhead, and that Mime. Dont think though another company would produce figures for this franchise but I kind of like the "idea" of a Nendoroid Great Wakkorotti with different headsculpts.

Wasn't there a plan for Tiny Toons figures?
