Just watched a video update. Apparently Warner Bros denied Super 7 the license. So, with Mattel out of the picture, could we hope that DCC makes them? Or is the line just dead in the water?

I'd say the line is dead for now. DC Collectibles only does figures that support DC Entertainment (comics, cartoons, movies, video games, etc.) and as far as I know, DC has never done a Thundercats comic so they wouldn't make any TC figures. Your only hope for new figures will come from either Neca, Mezco, or Diamond Select.

Not surprised. I feel bad for all those that wasted their money on the line initially.

This makes me sad.

I get that WB must be charging more than Super 7 are willing to pay, but you'd think that WB would just be happy to make some money. I guess it's such small change to them they don't care.

Actually, DC has done several Thundercats comics, both under their normal imprint and Wildstorm. That's what got me back into the 'Cats a bunch of years ago.

They haven't always just did DC stuff. I have a Mass Effect figure made by DC Direct.

No need to feel bad. The figures that were released are easily the best Thundecats figures ever made. Why do people have the crap menatality that if we don't get every character then we shouldn't have any? It's an immature way of thinking. Would I have wanted the line to continue? Absolutely!! But I'm not going to cry about it.

There's still plenty of Marvel characters that need Legends, and there's no real way of knowing if they'll be made. That doesn't stop people from collecting the line.

D.C. Has done Thundercats comics and just this year did a MOTU and Thundercats crossover series.

Sure, Cheetarah and Tigra would have been nice to have to at least get the team- but just getting the ones they made and calling the line complete- perfectly fine with that. Panthro alone is one of the best damn figures ever!

Um because Thundercats is worthless without all of the core members. Just like a Sentai/Powre Rangers team is worthless if you don't have all of the rangers from that series. What good does it do you to only have the red and black rangers? A team of just Lion-O and Tygra is pointless.

Would you want the Fantastic Four if your only figures were IW and HT? How about the Doom Patrol without Negative Man or Elasti Girl?
