I read a comment on here from someone saying Super7 had plans through wave 10 for Thundercats Ultimates, really hoping the next five waves aren’t just ‘Toy version’ repaints of what we already got in toon form, that would be hugely disappointing, especially if they never get round to WilyKit, Wilykat and Snarf. My hopes for Ratilla and at least one Berbil are growing smaller.

In an interview, Flynn said they had up through Wave 10 already planned out, not that they are only planning 10 waves.

I really wish they had included another head with these, featuring the "eyes light up" effect. That or added gitd paint to the current portraits. Especially since they're light on accessories compared to the first releases. That and some kind of homage to the power ring that came with the vintage figs would have really made these feel "ultimate".

*I say all this but of course I'm still getting them...

Yeah, it was said recently (toybro interview I think?) that wave 7 will be back to animated looks.

This. We're getting a lot less accessories with these versions, yet paying the same prices. The light up eye gimmick was a major selling point for LJN Lion-O and Mumm-Ra. So it's a strange omission to not have at all for these homages.
And yeah, the light up charger too...maybe done up as a weapons case, weapons rack, a stand to display the extra head, etc.

Oh good, I mean I understand people want these Toy versions, they just aren’t my thing. I really hope wave 7 has WilyKit, Wilykat and snarf, I won’t feel like the collection is complete until I get them, anyone after that is a bonus. When they do inevitably release them, im curious as to how they will be packaged, has anyone ever known Super7 to do an ultimates 2 pack? They would be small figures for single release at the current selling price.

Those look really sharp, but I'd only be tempted at half the price.

Lol they're charging the full $55 for that tiny Ralph Wiggum figure so I wouldnt expect any kind of price break for smaller characters. Theyll probably be single releases stuffed with accessories to make up for them being smaller. Maybe one packed with Snarf and the other Snarfer?

And actually wasnt Snarf packed in with Lion-O at some point in the LJN line? That's something else they couldve done for these homages.

Aye, it was a different Snarf toy to the regular one. A more cartoon accurate in sculpt and size non-articulated figurine included with some Lion-O releases, as opposed to the larger, slightly off-looking, articulated Snarf sold as a single 'Companions' figure.

Haha oh yeah I forgot about that Ralph Wiggum figure, course they will charge the full hit, Snarf packed in with one of these two makes sense, as for accessories, they gotta include the hoverboards right.
