The SH Figuarts will be hard to top, but I'd like to see what kind of accessories they pack in.

" 3.75″ articulated Bruce Lee ReAction figures"
How articulated are they going to be. ReAction figures aren't known for their kung fu posing. lol |

I missed out on SH Figuarts Bruce Lee. If I like the likeness and the scale on Super7 Ultimates Bruce Lee, then I may consider getting it. I highly doubt it’ll be realisitc looking. Most likely will look quite cartoony with limited articulation. It’ll probably even look more like Fei Long in Street Fighter than Bruce Lee.

5POA figures of martial artists.
I guess that's fine since most people just put these on their mantle carded, I guess? |

I hope the ultimates Bruce Lee has a better likeness than what they keep crapping out for Andre the Giant. I know some people are just really hard to capture in figure form and a lot of their other figures are great. Doubt it'll replace my Figuarts Bruce but one can never really have enough Bruce Lee stuff.

True story: I taught this class of middle-schoolers, when I referenced "just like Bruce Lee...", they all looked at each other, one of them literally said "who?". NOT a single one of them have heard of Bruce Lee. SAD.

I will be getting this for sure. My childhood was filled with martial arts, spaghetti westerns and Godzilla. |

Super 7 should stick with just doing cartoon/toy characters in their Ultimates lines since that's what they excel at. So far all their efforts to do real life humans has ended up disappointing because of the poor headsculpts (Andre, Conan, etc). I have low expectations for a Bruce Lee figure from them.
Also, why the specific obsession over Andre the Giant? Is Bryan Flynn a huge fan of him? I've mentioned it in past Andre threads, but I'd be all for a full Ultimates line based on 1980s WWE all stars, maybe inspired by the old Hulk Hogan Rock n' Wrestling cartoon or the LJN toy line. If the Andre figures are selling well, they should expand on that to do a full roster of the 80s wrestling stars as a unique cartoony/toyetic alternative to Mattel's realistically depicted wrestlers line. SH Figuarts Bruce Lee's were microscopic and weaksauce. But definitely looking forward to Super 7's Ultimates Bruce Lees. Hope it's super dope!

The SHF Bruce Lees were great figures, with those realistic, expressive faces and poseability. Really fun to mess around with and put into cool poses. Doesnt seem like the Super 7 figure will be that type of figure but I'm still interested in seeing what they come up with. I guess he'll scale well with the other ultimates, which could be fun too.

I've got my finger on the trigger for this one. It can't be worse than the DST Bruce Lee likenesses right? I emailed them about it. I did not find those to be acceptable.

Oh aye the DST looked more like one of his many copycats that came after he died. The SHF figure is pretty great

The likeness of the Ultimates look pretty damn good. Especially so for Super7. They're not beating the SHF in terms of face sculpt, but far superior to what DST did. It's definitely Bruce. I'll definitely be ordering both versions.

Bruce Lee is lean but muscular, the Super 7 Bruce Lee's got a beefy body like a WWE wrestler.

True, but it also looks exactly like what it is: a toy. The SHF figure is pretty unbeatable for all-around accuracy. But Super7's stuff is just so much more fun to handle IMO. I love the beefiness of their figures.

Warrior Bruce's legs seem pretty long looking at it some more.

Aye I ain't sure about these. As said the body looks a bit too bulky to be Bruce who was more known for looking kinda slight until the shirt came off and revealed the tightly packed toned muscles lol
