What's the deal with his Shredder? How is it different? The link is just a link to the news story. Is that what its supposed to be or a link to another site?

It looks like it may be a video game variant. Looks like the eyes are whited out with black around them, like the video game figure. Only time will tell.

It looks like the mirage shredder with a cape and in toon colors. Hopefully with no qc issues this time

I dunno, the title on Walmart clearly indicates (cartoon), aside from it being "pinball" I see nothing indicating this is based on the video game...

Definitely not based on the old arcade pinball game.

That Shredder looks cool but I'm sure as with all Walmart TMNT I'll never find it.

If it was pinball game based I'd have preferred a yellow variant April figure. To me that was always the prominent thing on that pinball machine - the sexy April held by Shredder.

It's based on the new Pinball game, not the old one.

Can't wait to pay $50+ on Ebay for just the Shredder figure, like every other NECA Shredder I have.

At least last time in Walmart there were three other collectors where the NECA stuff was also cursing out Walmart and NECA besides me.

NECA is such an enigma. They produce a vast array of figures from beloved childhood cartoons and movies that bring many people great joy, but then they make some of them exclusives to places like walmart that no one would ever want to set foot in. NECA is truly astounding, they've found a way to make their fans love them and hate them at the same time.

I just don't understand if it's scalpers causing the scarcity or if NECA is just under-producing TMNT.

Walmart and Target are generally full of Predator, BTTF, Horror, and Aliens NECA figures but nary a TMNT to be found. I see plenty of their Loot Crates in Walmart that AREN'T TMNT, too.

The large amount of NECA TMNT on Ebay seems to indicate that they are producing enough and it's just everyone and their uncle is scalping them, leading to a scarcity online and in store for Walmart/Target. Kind of like how the Retro and Classified GI Joes seem non-existent online and in Walmart/Target yet are everywhere on Ebay.

It shouldn't be costing people $100+ on the secondary market to get a loose April, for instance. For the first month her set seemed to be easy to find online and then blew up in price. The scalpers realizing they have something in demand and buying them all up?

I actually found one of these this morning. Excited about the ridiculous beanie. It'll go well with my Ninja Turtles shell beanie lol.

I hope other fans get the other 3 I left.

Shiny Shredder seems like a cool variant. For a retail price maybe.

I found the set this morning. I wasn’t happy about the $50 price tag but now that I have it in hand, I think the price is justified. YMMV in the other stuff in the box besides Shredder but I think the shirt is pretty nice. I also think the box will make a great display piece if you have a Turtles shelf and want something in the background. The Krang beanie will probably become a White Elephant Christmas gift. The magnets too. I like the Bebop and Rocksteady key chain but I’m not sure that I want to swap out my current one for it.

It's looking good there! It's reminding me of the"TOON" version of Shredder from the 90's TMNT playmates. If this is the only metallic Shredder they pump out I may need it more than I think.
