I know this isn't the right spot...But there's no active thread for S7 SDCC Silverhawks reveals. Just gonna say that I'm THRILLED with the chrome greatness that is W4. Very VERY happy I waited.

Most seem angry about it actually. I understand why but they had to have known it was coming. I didnt get ultimates Quicksilver so I'll probably will get the toydeco version. The villians...I kind of wish I waited on Buzzsaw specifically but, oh well.

I can understand the anger. I would be too had I not waited. Especially since Flynn went into detail as to why they made the decision to go with the animated paint style and why they wouldn't do "chromed" treatments. Then for W1 to delayed only to have vac metal repaints announced in W4 not 2 months after W1 shipped. It's a simultaneous kick in the teeth and nuts. For sure.

I wonder how stable the vac metal will be? In the past that's only been applied to hard ABS types of plastics. I don't want to buy this beautiful figure only to have it flake off or go all Takara MP TF Hotrod/Ironhide and just rub off after being touched.

I know EXACTLY what you mean about Buzzsaw. I loved that figure as a kid. Loved it. Especially the color.

Fans SHOULD be angry about this. But I'm still happy I waited. These are the figures I waited for. Now lets hope they aren't 60 bucks (before tax) each.
