I'm sure they're coming. And I'm sure they will be way cooler than the final product.

The first 2 teasers, the ones that were blacked out a bit, were renders. The new one is a tangible, prototype. I don't think think they're going to be able to get away with only showing renders this time.

I really don’t know if they could get the numbers they need with that price.

Even Neca has held back their turtles playsets. I’m sure they are reading the room on cash flow for the collectors of the world.

Can you imagine? That thing would be 80lbs. You’d need to drop that sucker on a steel Lazy Susan. But if you get this where will your Classified Terror Drome go?

Oh I got ya. Thought maybe you had seen something already. The interior teaser looks to be a practical model.

Yeah I agree. Folk need to peep this crazy thing. S7 has always made practical models of their large bases. Wonder if this will be bigger than Snake Mountain? It’ll probably be taller but, overall mass may rival Snake Mountain.

Well so much for a cheap 'distance' display piece. Only way I can see myself getting this is another stimulus check... (hint hint Joe)

Sure, I always wanted to re-live a good half of 'Drive'. Minus Kristina Hendricks getting killed and stabbed by Albert Brooks.

Flynn said in an interview that the price on it will be $650 with a flat $100 shipping. Isn't that cheaper than Snake Mountain was?

I paid $780 total for snake mountain, but I did the payment plan so it was a bit more than just flat out buying it.

I think $800 or less was where this needed to be and looks like that is what it will be.

Now, will they offer a payment plan and will other stores ( BBTS, Entertainment Earth, Amazon, Sideshow, Best Buy, etc) offer this as well? Yet to be announced I guess.

TNI is saying the flat shipping is $150 and also it's being done as a crowdfunding thing.

Maybe one of the stretch goals will be Star Trek The Next Generation's twice cancelled Guinan.

But they can't cross licenses, so they tooled a new head and created Grrnun, a cat bartender.

Potatohead is commonly wrong. Looks like he did fix the shipping cost. Super7 stuff is normally crowdfunded to an extent. They don't move forward with something if they don't get enough preorders. But, this will have stretch goals, so, a little different. I wonder if one of the stretch goals will be that they'll actually paint the goddamn thing. Wish they would have crowdfunded Flint if that's the case.

Could you guys imagine if, a year after this is released, they announced a Cat's Lair "supplement" that was basically the area beneath the "Claws" in the attached pic?

It added another foot to the height, was 36" wide at the base and tapered to 29.3". The Lair would sit on top of it. It would be longer than the actual base of the Lair and top was sculpted to resemble the "courtyard". It acted as a garage for the T-Tank and hanger for the Feliner (unannounced and I'm dreaming here). The front and sides were canyon walls and featured a hidden "Hanger Door". The total height of both would clock in at around 49". That would make The Cat's Lair the largest action figure "play set" ever created.

I'm done talking crazy. For now.
