i would care about this movie had the first one been good, it wasnt. lol it had moments, but they killed me with the awful Emma Frost.

It was the Magneto/Xavier relationship that mattered and they nailed that. I didn't really like some of the departures from the comic material/timeline but the acting was great (with one small exception) and overall I thought it did well.

I'm glad most people liked the movie, but I thought it was boring and pointless, Magneto was great, but that's about it. They are just rushing these movies out so they can keep the license. Until Cable or Apocalypse is in the movie, I just don't care.

I think the director did a lot with how little he was given in script/time/etc. I don't think they will ever do Apocalypse and I wouldn't want them to because I am 90% sure what we would see on screen would be nothing like Apocalypse.

I enjoyed the movie, mainly because of Charles and Erik's relationship. And Bacon is always good! Emma Frost was awful, but that's because January Jones is awful. She's a stiff actress. I look forward to the sequel if only to keep comic movies alive.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoyed FC (mainly due to Magneto) and I'm hoping since Charles has opened his school Cyclops will be his first official student and can get some proper big screen time.

I'm still upset at what they did to the Xmen in Xmen 3. So, I actually only watched the last 1/2 of XMen First Class on cable.

You people are picky. For me, this was one of the better made comic films in recent memory.. and no one saw it coming. I thought the acting was superb all around and had no issue with Emma.

Yeah, I really liked First Class. I wonder if they're going to touch on Havok & Cyclops being brothers. I would say that Havok from 1st class would have to be 10-15 years older than Cyclops in XMO:Wolverine

Personally I was amazed at how faithful to the time period everyting was- no BS technology aside from the first Cerebro- and even that looked 1960's tech. The whole movie had a great Sean Connery James BOnd feel to it that I loved. And, of course, I laughed my ass off at the Wolverine cameo! Freakin' brilliant! The very best X-movie in my opinion (X2 running distant second and the other being rubbish). |

As I understand it, the trademark Days of Future Past has been registered by Fox. lots of chatter around the web about the First Class sequel being based on that story arc.
