I'm really liking this whole new sub genre of found footage movies, not sure about this one yet though.

you need to see that movie. depressing ending.....anyways no they weren't dinosaurs, just transdimens....ok just weird ass creatures. Im pretty sure the explanation for their existence in this particular film could be similar.

I sorta had interest in seeing it awhile ago but, heard it was terrible. Usually if a few people say a movie is bad while I still have a glimmer of hope, I see it. Everyone I talked too said it was shitty. Maybe I should reconsider...

Lol, see this is what I was talking about.

I know how most end, your lead character gets dragged off screen screaming but, these films just do it for me. I can't really explain it, as long as they are well done (Paranormal Activity), I'm there.

Its just going in to it I know if there were any survivors why would the footage need to be "found" but who knows maybe I will be proven wrong

Well because then we wouldn't have a movie lol. The same reason the person filming the creature/ghost whatever doesn't put the camera down when they should be clearly running away haha.

Blair Witch started the whole trend, or actually Cannibal holocaust in the 80's started it I believe. It's actually a really gruesome movie, about cannibals eat a few different film crews after they exploited, raped and killed their people. A lot of people thought it was real, and to this day is 1 of the only movies to be banned in every state. and like 30 countries. I like them if they're done well enough, like aside from the fact that 99% chance you fools gonna die. But if the cgi is amazing or the camera angles, music, suspense/scream factor is there, then yeah I'll buy my ticket and popcorn like the rest of us, but if it's 2 predictable or cheesy then f-that. Ps THE MIST wasn't half bad, good old Mark Wallberg ... "hey, how's your mother".

Yeah the movie looks like a dl I may do at some point, but knowing the Avenger's movie is coming out in the near future has me comparing movies to it, and saying naw it's not worth wasting the $$. Gf really wants to see the new Muppets movie, and I kinda wanna see the Rum diaries, it's based on a Hunter S Thompson book, aka a companion to Fear and Loathing! woo!

I wanna see the muppets movie too. I will take your GF. I just think as far as horrors go we have some very good ones out now and coming out so this one is getting pushed back for me.
