Not liking that costume for nighthawk. Woulda liked to have seen the light and dark blue outfit.

Hasbro really scraped the bottom of the barrel for these two.

Why do these ultra-scrubs get figures but I still don't have one of the original Death's Head? At least he had a mini-series within the past few years.

When was nighthawk black? I confess to not knowing too much about squad supreme but everything ive seen he was a white guy. Did they retcon h8m or is he a diff guy altogether?

I don’t know the backstory behind this Nighthawk, but Supreme Power, circa the early aughts featured a black American version of Nighthawk. If I’m recalling correctly, I believe they were another alternate timeline squadron. The comic, and Nighthawk in particular, were pretty popular at the time among readers, myself included.

I prefer Kyle as a lover of canon, but I’ve gotta admit, this design is pretty slick and I’ve ordered the set. Don’t quote me, but I believe these are the new Squad Supreme looks…

I think this two-pack (and the Hyperion/Spectrum two-pack previously) is based on the version of the Squadron that appeared in the 2018 Avengers title:

which were created by Mephisto, the Power Elite, and Phil Coulson to replace the Avengers

I hope somehow we get the blue and black costume Nighthawk as thats my favorite nighthawk costume.
