This thing should be hitting retailers any day now right?

Probably not. Looks like they dropped it from their shipping calendar. Not even listed for August anymore. Product page still lists July, but I find the shipping calendar more regularly accurate.

Hopefully this is just a slip-up on NECA's part...BTW, where is this shipping calendar that you speak of?

From NECA's website:

| NECAOnline.com

They have the current and following months updated. Once we move onto August, they'll populate September's listings.

After this one and the new T2 one come out, there's going to be some fun, and super easy customization options for the Ultimate T-800 figures.

Don't know just yet. But with the hands, heads, weapons all being interchangeable, may just be fun to display them in different ways. Shame the Genisys ones don't swap out the same way, as it'd be fun to have old man Arnie on some of these bodies.

I asked NECA on Facebook about the status of the Police Assault T-800, and they said the following:

"It's going to arrive in our warehouse at the very end of the month, so I'd guess most stores won't start receiving it until the first week of August."

So not quite yet, but soon. Just in time for my birthday, in fact!

Nice! So I'll probably get mid-August. Can't remember if I'm getting from BBTS or EE. Have to double check.

I was on the fence about these figures but the rubbery guns have put me right off. I collect too many figures to put up with that crap lol.

I never noticed that both of these figures are identical from the waist down. I swear I thought he had a complete costume change about halfway through the film.

I'd be all over the police station version if I didn't already have the Tech Noir version. I'm a big fan of both of these looks.

As with the Tech Noir figure, I have the original Police Station Assault T-800 that NECA put out a few years ago, so if the guns are ultra-rubbery again I can just swap them for the guns from the first version of the figure, as the quality of those is great.

And if anyone needs a reminder of the accessories that came with the recent Tech Noir figure...seriously, shame on you, NECA. You're better than this.

Yeah, Arnold just changed his shirt and jacket before he went calling on the police station. That's accurate to the film.

His third costume change comes from he gets too hot and removes all of his skin. In T2 he actually changes less as he switches shirts to a lighter color and throws on gloves. Other than that he just gets progressively more damaged.

Really hope the guns with police shootout aren't gummy.

Paper.

Seriously though, yes, the machine gun, auto-shotgun, and pistol that come with the Police Station Assault T-800 are all made of a much harder plastic than the Gummy Worms that came with the Tech Noir figure. The barrel on the machine gun has a wee bit of wiggle to it, but it's no big deal at all, and doesn't even approach the noodle-like quality of Tech Noir's shotgun.

The only issue is that the way the auto-shotgun is packaged in some of the boxes has resulted in a slight bit of a bend to it, but since the weapon is otherwise quite solid the old hot water trick can probably fix that up in no time. I managed to find one without a bend, however.
