I think the only one-liner from T2 that genuinely still gets a chuckle from me is when he shoots the gate guard's legs and flatly states "he'll live." You can almost tell the terminator has no fun not killing.

I always had an issue with "no problemo" since problemo isn't a real word,it's just that old joke adding "o" to the end of a word and making it sound like spanish.

Looks great. I'll probably buy two...one for his ass-kicking Tech-Noir "Hey, that guy didn't pay!" look, and another for his f-ed up, post car chase look when he's operating on himself in his fleabag motel room.

I love that they even appear to have included a hand for holding his forceps. That's fantastic.

I'm glad that these terminators are actually made to have one gun in each hand. The T2 ultimate T-800 can really only have one gun per hand if you put the shotgun in his left hand because the fingers are sculpted together so any other gun won't look right.

even better...tech noir head on a jungle encounter dutch upper body(with maybe rocky legs?) and your about halfway there on a pumping iron custom. or that head on the old biff bang pow flash gordon, and you have an easy 'arnold is numero uno' pumping iron variant.

The tech noir version looks great but the police station assault version simply makes me hear Dun-Dun Dun Dun-Dun.

looks great. i've always thought that the battle damaged terminator heads have always been the quintessential look for a terminator.

I agree. If you just display it with the normal head then it's just Arnold on your shelf but if half of his face is missing and his skull is some evil cyber shit under that then you know that that's the terminator.

Assault is the only figure in the range I'm truly interested in. I've owned versions of all the rest previously.

It doesn't look like they improved on the above-the-waist articulation. If they did allow for better range of motion on the arms I would consider these. I have the PD Assault, Post-Tech Noir and Tanker Assault versions, already and I don't think I see reason enough to replace them with these. Although having the "Home Invasion" version of the T-800 (when he kills the first Sarah Connor) is tempting...

To be fair there's not much they could improve on above the waist. A torso joint (it doesn't look like these will have one) could have been worked in under the shirt I suppose but it would honestly be excessive articulation since the Terminator is so stiff in its movements, he walks back-straight through the entire station. While the arms could have been upgraded articulation-wise it would either be a classic double-hinge elbow (which I think look just awful on sleeved arms) or they'd have to upgrade it to what they're doing with the AvED Ash figures which would be more costly for what amounts to superfluous movement.

Damn this looks awesome! I've slowly realized that the terminator is one of my favorite movies. Came out around the time I was born so I never did see it in theatres. One of my first memories is renting this at the local blockbuster type mom and pops store and being glued to my VCR thinking WTF this is crazy when he's repairing himself... That's a good field dressing. Need that brominator!
