Poor Batman. he looks like he's got a bad head cold, but had to get up and go to work anyway.

IMHO, it's not a bad sculpt of Michael Keaton. Unfortunately, he always looked bad in the cowl. Those pucker lips were an extreme turnoff from day one. Nevertheless, some collectors are quite loyal to the Keaton / Tim Burton film and will probably look forward to this.

Don't hold out too much on that hope since they might never get to. All 4 of their previous DC 7" releases were under strict circumstances and were technically not regularly released figures but merely "home video promotions" meant to be sold only with the movies (TRU was just being accidentally nice about not forcing you to get a movie too). So it's entirely up to Warner Bros' video release division if NECA ever gets to do it again which they may choose to not do. That being said it definitely seems like Randy would want to do the Penguin, Catwoman, and Burt Ward Robin if they ever get another opportunity.

Not sure how it is in the rest of the country, but the last 3 are still warming pegs like crazy at the 2 TRU's I go to. Between the 2 stores, there's 21 Batmen, 15 Supermen, and 11 Jokers.

If this is the case all over, I have doubts they'll even bother anymore going through the hassle of trying to get them out there.

In the only two TRUs I can realistically check they moved crazy fast, Adam West Batman was the only one that even slightly lingered. Then again my area barely got them in at all because distribution sucks. I don't regret ordering the Superman and Joker online when they went live last year seeing as, like I predicted, the nature of the figures' release meant QC issues were much higher than standard releases found in stores. Or at least Superman figures were plagued with limb issues, I didn't really see mass complaints about the other two. Having said that it's hard to deny how great the figures are when Supes doesn't break, especially because this is like the only collectible company Chris Reeve Superman and it is the best looking Ledger Joker figure.

Oh, I agree. I love them. I think they are little plastic masterpieces. I have half a mind to just buy up all of the remaining stock.

I think you're confusing this with the Ben Affleck Batman.
