Why did Hasbro regress to the 90's in terms of articulation? It's depressing to see...

no one is going to buy this crap.

it's hard enough selling a new tv show.. but having terrible toys to go along with it is really going to hurt.

i absolutely LOVED the clone wars show and toys.. but this.. i can't get into this.

there are already enough 5 POA star wars figures peg warming as it is.

it's a true shame to see what hasbro has done with this line, the new transformers AOE line, and the iron man 3 line. it's terrible. truly terrible.

Looks cool but the 5 POA turns me off it severely.

I tell you what, I'm getting a Kyle Katarn vibe from the body mold on this figure. Just Slap some brown on that shoulder guard, then give him a katarn head.

Sounds like an interesting character, but the art style has already ruined this show for me. It's the same shit as Clone Wars, and it was a big reason I couldn't get into that show. It's unlikely, but I kinda want to see this character in live-action.

As for the figure, not at all surprising. Honestly, nobody should have been surprised by this. If it isn't black series you should expect it to have limited articulation. It's sad, but that's the way things are now.

Wow... This is a complete ripoff of Kyle Katarn from Jedi Outcast--Heck, even his name even sounds similar (Katarn/Kanan?) They're talking this character up like they made him up themselves, when, in reality, it's basically like they just copied and pasted Kyle's look, character, and even backstory from the Jedi Knight game series. Also, the articulation on that figure is ludicrously bad.

Well, Hasbro just helped me to save a ton of money on Star Wars figures in the near future, lol! Between these and the poor character choices, as well as the scarcity, of the 3 3/4" Black figures, I should have plenty of extra cash to spend on the 6" SW Black figures.

I have to agree. It's actually a relief to see entire lines like this that I won't be buying. Frees up a lot of cash to put into other things.

I had the exact same initial reaction. I even did a double-take on the name to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me!

These are not aimed towards us they are aimed at kids. Same with all of the toys in the kids aisle it is why they are in the toy aisle in the first place hence the 5 POA.

Yeah I get that they're aimed at kids but even kids seem to think these are crap. I see the same stuff like this (SW, Marvel, DC, etc.) every time I go into a store. Nothing moves, nothing changes.

Marvel Universe & Marvel Legends are in the kids aisle & they don't have 5POA. So WTF???

Clone Wars was aimed at kids but didn't have 5POA. So WTF???

Trying to defend cheap lazy Hasbro isn't really going to work here.

I'm not into the new show or figures, but happy for those that might be into it. I will be just fine with the 6" Black Series and the OT.

Those two lines were originally trying to target both kids and collectors. With the new focus that Hasbro is implementing for action figures, the 6" scale is collector-driven while [most of] the 4" is now aimed at kids.

Line existed prior to Hasbro's shift in focus. I also find it amusing that when a company makes a design choice that does not agree with certain collectors, the company is automatically labeled as "lazy". That's like telling a sculptor that his bust of Julius Caesar is lazy because he didn't do the entire body.
