I get it, but these are really expensive. MR I always thought had great quality and pretty damn good likeness to the real thing, and they weren't this much.

The difference, though, is that Master Replica were still doing their best to replicate the look of the Lightsabers, but using their own interpretation. where as these are as close to film used props as you can get without buying the ones seen on screen. Made by the people doing it for the films, from the same materials, files and process used in making the films props. Plus it's delivered the same way the actual props are, in hand made custom crates. That's a a pretty impressive thing to own.

Oh I know, and agree. Like I said, I get it, I get the reasons for the price tags, but still too rich for my blood, especially since from a display point of view, these would really look like my MR collection and only I would really know the difference.

I thought for a moment that the melted helmet replica was a prank. Priorities change when you have money to burn. For my part, in that hypothetical (!) situation, I'd focus on clean, shiny props. The bowcaster looks very nice -- another man-cave trophy...!

I still hope that somebody will release another miniature, good quality, screen-accurate Vader helmet like the Riddell version that came out a few years ago...

for me the melted helmet is infinitely more interesting.

I would love to see behind the scenes on how they make that thing. looks to be a complete pain in the trowser hams to get out of a mold.

that being said. I'm not buy a $3500 prop, would like money to burn though.

I kinda knew Mr. Savage would be all over these, but he made a video about the Kylo Ren helmet already which is worth checking out since you can see how this helmet looks in hand and the crate it was shipped in etc.
