Definitely a must pick up for me. Hope wave 2 comes out soon during the height of Thor fever!

Looks ok, I only picked up the Frost Giant because it was on sale and might pick this one up. If only they'd make the heroes a little more interesting to me on this Thor line.

Interesting. I have never bought any movie-based marvel figures, but have all of the comic ones that I could find (still missing spider-man line's lizard and scorpion figures). This one looks close enough to the comic version that it might be worth picking up! I'm not crazy about the light-up face gimmick, though.

I wonder how he'll look next to the MU Modern Thor?

Looks like something I will get, not much on all the variety of movie figs but hey it should fit in with my MU's.

Cool fig. I'm getting it.
It could go without the "power glow". How long until Hasbro realizes modern action figures sell just as well or better without lame gimmicks. It's like if comics still shipped with holograms glued to the covers. Still, cool enough though. |

I'm going to get a few of these, they're making a 3 3/4'' scale figure with and without the light chest feature, as well as an 8'' rotocast figure.. I want the 8'' figure to tower over My Thor figure, the same way he does in the movie. In the movie Thor is like 6'3, and Destroyer is like 50ft tall. in the comics he's average size villain. But with destroyer we can easily repaint, maybe sculpt a bit and turn him into a Thor-buster Iron man! Which is 1 of my favorite suits.
