Not bad.. I should start looking for old playsets like that. Anyone suggest any others?

Was that the dude in England? He had a lot of negative feedback. Looked dodgy as they like to say. If you don't mind, shoot me a link would you?

Thank goodness I didn't start collecting the Thor line, too. IM2 was really the only line I felt was close enough to MU for me to get figures from. The Captain America figures are scaled kind of weird (although I caved in and got the USAgent, Red Guardian and Crossbones) and the Thor line is really tiny. Just another line to have elusive figures that I'd be ripping my hair out to obtain. LOL.

Yeah, I almost didn't collect the Thor figures for just this very reason. I knew that if they had major characters in later waves, we probably wouldn't see them due to the armies of Thors rotting on the pegs.
I am a huge Iron Man fan, so I had no problem buying a set or case of each wave, since I knew I could use the spares for customs, but I couldn't bring myself to drop 70.00 for the one wave that has Sif on BBTS.

If the Sif figure looked more like her comic book version, I'd probably be more inclined.

Exactly. This is not at all the character I remembered from the comics, at least not in the 80s. But then again, really none of the characters look much like their comic namesakes - not even Thor. Why Hasbro elected not to do comic versions I will never know - maybe they thought the line wouldn't be very popular?

Very nice pickup! I actually like the light-up feature since it makes sense and all.

Bald scalper scalped all the destroyers at my target, he made me so angry.
Plus I saw him take them.

just so you know, its not considered stealing if you nab it out of his hands. He hasn't paid for it yet.

I think of all the Marvel lines Walmart had (here anyway), Thor did the most poorly. Even worse than Green Lantern.

Well, my Destroyer and Sif came from BBTS. Dividing the cost of the order, they cost about $14 apiece, not too bad considering the scalper prices on Sif. Majorly disappointed with the articulation on the destroyer though. Damn lights should have an articulated waist, and I want ball-joint shoulders! Arg! Oh well. he looks good on the shelf!

Yeah, actually Destroyer is the only figure from the Thor line that I purchased mainly because he was the only way to get that figure.
