They do indeed look like the old Toy Biz figures from the 90's. For better or worse.

With all of these 3 3/4 figures coming out, will anyone even be making 6 inch figures anymore?

I think 6" is a fading scale honestly.

The economy just isn't supporting big figures well anymore.

It's just like back when 3 3/4" became the dominant scale back in the day.

I don't really like animated-style figures.
However that show is awesome!

Woohoo another Colossus figure! The figure doesn't look that great but nice to see he's still getting some love. I might just stick with my old Marvel Showdown fig.

Thanks! I'm actually worried about the articulation, hopefully these retain full articulation despite having some gimmicks.

Hand held claws? L-A-M-E. I don't mean to be a hater but, I'll wait for Fury Files.

The yellow & blue Wolverine will be coming out with the movie figures. Those are pretty much like the Fury Files ones.

Hand held claws or not, those look fun. That in itself reminds me of the earliest Wolvie figures (i.e. Secret Wars) we got. I know that's totally a step backwards in engineering but it's kinda cool too. Regardless, any time we get an Avalanche figure is fine by me

I need to get on top of my money situation soon, there's just never any cut off for the "Oh I want that too!" tinge as I see more and more toys. Damn plastic crack addiction.

The wolvie Figure itself looks good, I'm just not feeling the claws. But like Ktulu said, it is very reminicent of Secret Wars Wolvie, which for many years hung from my ceiling fan

Yes. Marvel/Hasbro has said in their recent Q&A's they have heard the fans who want to fill in there collections and there will be lots more 6 inch to come. Marvel Select has said they are focusing on larger characters for their line seeing how popular the 10 inch Hulk/Rulk have been.

But back on topic, They look very much like the cartoon. That's all I can say.

Oh man, looks like the articulation has taken the back seat on these guys, I hope I'm wrong. I don't mind animated styling so long as full articulation is preserved, a great example is Transformers:Animated, another is Gentle Giant's Animated Hellboy toyline.

Most of them look pretty cool. The great thing about this show, and hopefully the line, is the amount of characters they have. It should definitely give the toyline plenty of room to grow, so we don't see things like neon green Beast.

I think they're going for the JLU style with these. Minimal articulation.

Frankly I think they look pretty darn good. Can't wait to get them.
