I really like that a lot, but being a maquette it has no real place in my collection.

It will be nice to see it in person at SDCC though!

I have been holding out hope that someone would do some high end Tron Classic and Tron Legacy figures. Hot Toys seemed like they were going to run with the Legacy stuff, but stopped after the light cycle and Kevin Flynn. If nothing ever comes out, I may look into getting statues. But how have there been no Daft Punk Tron figures? Baffling.

Medicom has been doing the Daft Punk Tron stuff, I wonder if there is some bizarre deal where they are the guys handling anything Daft Punk related.

They had done a couple different Daft Punk RAH releases in the past well before Tron Legacy came out, and basically just updated them in their Tron outfits for the newer Tron Legacy ones. Seeing as though Medicom also does the Daft Punk Tron Bearbricks, maybe they have some sort of exclusivity there.

I want to get them, but at like $225 each, it's a tough pill to swallow. I could go $300 for both for the Medicom ones, but man a Hot Toys release would be awesome, because they could incorporate actual light up elements in their helmets.

I wouldn't mind owning one of those. Rinzler/Tron was one of my favorite parts of Legacy.

I hear ya man, I would love to own a set of them and have a 1/6 dj setup for them and position them in front my ipod dock, but $500 is a lot to pay for them, and sadly I can't see the price coming down much unless you get the rare auction on N/R on ebay.

Would've been cool if they made the blue Rinzler version.

It's a nice looking maquette. Unfortunately that price tag is way out of my league.

Too bad Spin Master didn't make an Ultimate Rinzler to go with the Ultimate CLU and Ultimate Sam Flynn figures. I liked both of those, Ultimate CLU especially.

Impressive, but too rich for my blood. Also, not really into statues or maquettes in general. Cool to look at, but I'd rather spend my money on something a little more modular.

Jarodimus surprised me by ordering this piece, mostly because he generally is not a statue guy. But he was so impressed by the solicitation photos that he pulled the trigger. I can't wait to hear his review of it.

As for the Medicom Daft Punk figures... I SO want them, but dat price.
