The Turtles look like they're going to be awesome. Definitely expensive, but within reason enough to get at least Raph... if not Mikey too... and Leo and Don... and any others they might do... I have been thinking about getting into higher-end collectibles... lol

From their reponses to people's questions, they'll be "fully articulated" and have cloth outfits. I just hope they're solid plastic and not a rubber around an endoskeleton framework. I'd rather have visible joints.

I asked if they had plans for any others, and specifically brought up Shredder, Splinter, and April. I can't remember what the exact response was, but it was a "look for future updates and announcements" sort of thing.

I think Shredder and Splinter are likely candidates to be made after the Turtles, but I have a bad feeling that Fox is stil against allowing her likeness to be made into a figure. At least any that are close enough to warrant her approval anyways. That said, I hope she's changed her mind.

It would be expensive, take up a good amount of space, and I wouldn't be able to aford them all as they came out, but having a display of 1/6th scale Turtles, Splinter, April, and Shredder from the new movie would be awesome.

I have no doubt the TMNT figs will be amazing collectibles, regardless of the design used. But prices of 1/6 scale figures always keep me from jumping in and I have a feeling these may be higher than Hot Toys prices.

I have to admit, I'm probably a tad over-hyped for these. They're the first real collector-oriented thing for this movie, so it's hard for me not to get excited. They'll be expensive, but looking at the cost of their past 1/6th scale stuff, it shouldn't be too bad.

Realistically speaking I might get Raph and that'll probably be it. I would like to say that I would be able to get them all, but that probably won't happen. If they're somehow available long-term... maybe eventually.

Honestly, if I knew it would be available for a while after it's release, I would actually consider getting the Amazon blu-ray statue bundle and call it a day. It's Raph, my favorite Turtle, and really nice looking. Though as-is it'll likely be unavailable by the time I would get around to getting it.

I really hope Playmates eithe makes some Classic Collection figures for this movie, or would allow NECA to make some 6" figures based on the movie.

I'm sorry, but I will definitely have to break the bank to get these 1/6 Movie Turtles. 3A / Threezero stuff never disappoints and I was amazed at how much I liked the movie. These Turtles are 'must buys' for me.
