We need Rambo 2 or 1. Hopefully they will also happen. Rambo 3 was okay.

I think Rambo 3 is his most iconic look

I like his look in 3 better but 2 is far more iconic. That's the look people tend to think of when they think of the character...the movie poster for 2 might be the one single image that encapsulates the character in pop culture. Also, it was the template for the toys and cartoon show.

Im in. I'm enjoying 1/6 scale since I'm done legends essentially.
This looks great and hope it leads to more Rambos or Colonel Trautman. |

While I appreciate the work done on this, I agree that Rambo III is not the best of the series. I enjoy Rambo II, but prefer First Blood. Had they done that version, with his make shift poncho, weapons made while in the woods, etc, I'd have been all over that figure. This, this one I'll pass on. It looks good, it's pretty iconic as far as what most people think of when they imagine Rambo, and the price is reasonable.

The likeness looks pretty good and downright amazing at the 3/4 angle. But the forearms seem a little bit too long and throw off the proportions a bit.

Someone needs to make the Weird Al Rambo head from UHF.

I think the sculpt looks like Stallone, but it's like 20% too small in that head of hear and compared to the body. The first initial shot from the side looked great, but the whole reveal looks odd. As a package though for $200 this look pretty well loaded with lots of options.

I hate the rubber arm shit. Looks horrible when it's in any bent-elbow pose.

Head looks like part thee... but really wanted a screaming head also.
Like the weathering on the pants. The rubber arms are interesting. Looks good when folded. Last edited by VashTS; 11-18-2019 at 10:58 AM.. |

Doesn't bother me. I vastly prefer the seamless designs whenever there is exposed skin on a character. Is it perfect? No. Is it better than gaping holes of a butterfly joint or Frankenstein-looking elbows? IMHO yes.

I'd love a compromise to have great sculpted arms to swap out arms. I know you can basically do that yourself, but including like sculpted arms at a couple of elbow bends would be great.

I can understand that point of view, but there's trade-offs either way. Either you have visible joints - some look bad and some look good, depending on the design - and the musculature of the arm remains constant and correct. Or you have joints hidden under a rubber sleeve that looks better aesthetically, but that bunches up and/or deforms the arm overall depending on the pose. For example, Sly's right arm looks all sorts of fucked up in this shot:

His body proportion is all kinds of wrong. If he's all pink, he'd look just like one of those M.U.S.C.L.E. rubber guys.
