I do hope there will be interest in the reruns if they determine future figures.
For me is a NO for now since I am not buying duplicates.
Still hate their price points though... They still seem abusive in my opinion; specially the way they handle their preorders.

I think Pixel Dan reviews are just OK, its his always happy attitude that kinda bothers me, kinda fake/robotic.
He should act more natural. I prefer other toy reviewers. there are tons of them now.

So happy to finally get a Lion O for a decent price! Been wanting one for a while, but he was always $100-150+
I get what people are saying about not wanting duplicates and whatever. Personally I only wanted Lion O and Mummra so I skipped the Mattel subscription. Single releases really sell this line for me.

I pre ordered some of these. The only one I really don't have is lion-o because I got rid of him early on. I got Jackalman last year-he's an awesome figure but the tranquil expression on his face seems really uncharacteristic so glad for the alternate head. Mumm-Ra I'm a little miffed about because I got him earlier in the year during BBTS Mattel sale, so a little tough to see him with all that stuff for only $5 more but whatever.
Curious what the QC is gonna be like on these guys...are they gonna have that weird somewhat translucent plastic? Also, wouldve really liked if they made Lion-O a little taller and fixed the assembly snafu with Jacklamans lower legs. And if they re-release Pumyra is she still gonna tower over everyone?

I hope there is enough support for this line. The price point is only 5 bucks higher than I was expecting but I have paid 50 for the Neca TMNT or scalpers price on eBay for them and two have already had snapped limbs. Who knows, maybe the inflated price has something to do with the Trade wars. I'm still in because no support means no new figures, plus I sold my originals Mattel ones. Gotta also say the soft goods cape for Mumm-ra seems like a bad choice over the original second cape you got.

The Mattel Thundercats figures were excellent. Its perfect for Super 7 to relaunch this way. They had no choice. Imagine the whining and crying if they didn’t reissue Lion-O. People can easily jump in now and it’s cool that people can now get Mummra without having to buy a subscription (which was the only way to get him before). Already own these? No worries. Don’t buy them. Wait for the next wave to jump back in. This is just a level set.

Try and be happy that we’re getting another go at this line.
Agreed. I don't know why people are so surprised by the reissues considering it's exactly how they relaunched MOTU classics.

I think the issue there is the reissues for masters were A list characters, that commanded high prices on the secondary and that line was 250 figures in.

Thundercats was 7 figures in. And yes, some of those 7 go for high prices on the secondary. But with the volatility of all thundercats lines, they needed to show that the full main cast was coming right out of the gate.

I also don’t hate him. That’s putting too much effort into it. I just avoid him. He does nothing for me and I find his faked enthusiasm annoying. It’s an issue a LOT of YouTubers have.

Personally, I stick to the small reviews by people who actually buy the toys they review, rather than the paid shills of a toy store.

Pixel dan never bothered me. I rather enjoy his reviews. I have a hard time watching shartimus, his yelling can ware on me, but I know some people love him. What is nice is that with so many choices now, everyone should find one here they like. I am finding the smaller reviewers very interesting to watch. That is more in line with how I look at toys. The mondo line won me over by smaller reviewers so there’s that.

D Amazing and Death2Cornbread are probably my favorite reviewers (for figures at least), no fake enthusiasm with those guys.

I'm thinking pretty hard about getting Lion-O, if they showed off Tygra in the first wave I'd probably get them both for sure.

Ain't that the truth. This is the most snake bit property I've ever seen. How are these "Ultimate" versions different than Mattel's releases?

Extra heads and accessories. The body sculpts appear to be identical to the originals. That's why I said earlier it would have been nice of Super7 to alternatively offer the new heads/accessories in an accessory pack similar to the MOTUC packs for those of us who got the original Mattel figures and don't want to have to double dip $180 for figures we already own just to get those few new pieces.

I just want to point out that the MOTU line had a wave of figures being produced at the same time the preorders went live for the Ultimates. I feel like TC will be no different, The ultimates will be their first offer, but by the time they fulfill those preorders I am sure the preorders will open for the first actual wave of figures. No way each release gets the "Ultimate" treatment and a $45 price tag, I'm sure we will see a wave of "New" figures in a very short amount of time.

I will probably only get Lino-O if any in this first offering, but I am curious to see what the first "Regular" wave of figures will be.

I just hope wave 2 isn't simply "Ultimate" versions of Pumyra, Wilykit, and Wilykat.

Yeah they can sink that ship if that is the case lol!

I also think if Pumyra was properly scaled people would be happy with a revision, but seeing as how she was the slowest moving figure of the Matty stuff I do not expect Super 7 to go "all out" on her.

Yeah they need to wait awhile on doing a re-release or all new sculpt of Pumyra (after they offer some NEW figures), considering she's still in stock at BBTS for $30 and cheap to get on Ebay too. I also still see the former SDCC exclusive Wilykit/Wilykat 2-pack available at Thinkgeek stores, so they shouldn't rush to re-release that pair either. However if or when they do offer Wilykit/Wilykat (in a 2-pack presumably) I wonder how it will be priced. If it's still $45 despite being 2 figures (albeit smaller in scale), then that price will be surprisingly fair considering the original SDCC 2-pack sold for $60.

Over on Instagram, Brian Flynn commented on the post about the Thundercats announcement and said:

"Just to be clear, we have 16 different Thundercats figures already in process in some form or another. Four figures per wave, one every three months or so everyone can get on board and start collecting. My assumption is that this line can continue for several years (and should)."

Saw it posted by Dan Larson from Toy Galaxy. So, if you want to read it for yourself, check out his Instagram. Since I'm new it won't let me post a link.
