I think I read on Twitter that the free shipping is when you order online, but have it shipped to the store for pickup. Not entirely sure how that works at all.

So not sure if this was mentioned yet, but I have found another option to order online. Besides the individual listings for the figures I found a "bundled" option that includes all 4 figures for $91.99 (which is the $22.99 per fig price). Cheapest shipping is actually expedited which is $7. So you will get the figs quicker, and pay about $15.99 less in shipping if you go this route.

Obviously if you got free shipping, or pre-ordered in store this is the best way and best price.

I am going to cancel my original order for the 4 individual figures and order the bundle instead.

I'm kinda ticked at Neca for releasing these at retail. I spent a $25 premium for a box that just went into the recycle pile.

They are amazing figures, but the whole way Neca played this is really questionable. My only solace is reading the spewing rants of the legions of butthurt who bought on ebay from scalpers and were taken for hundreds of dollars. I especially loved one post I read of a guy who bought the SDCC set for $400 on ebay a day before the Gamestop announcement. The item shipped, and minutes later, Gamestop release was posted. He contacted the ebay seller who said, "sorry pal. all sales final!"

I know I'm in the minority, but I really LOVED the 2nd Bayverse movie. With 1990's movie having the comics focus and the 1980's cartoon love note to fans in Out of the Shadows, I'm a happy Turtles fan.

Yes, these are the same figures, just with fewer accessories. The figures are packaged individually.

$125 at the Con or like $135-140 shipped if you bought it from their web site. It was going for $350 before this set was announced, so you won't be screwed over as much, but I think the set goes for $250ish now on eBay.

NECA GameStop Exclusive TMNT 1990 Figures Popping Up In Stores

People have been getting replacement parts recently for the SDCC set. Donatello is supposedly coming with back straps now for the bo now, so they're making some improvements. I ordered a set of these to get more hands but I guess I'll see which parts are better and then sell the rest.

This is very frustrating. I preordered my TMNT the very minute they popped up last year and I have seen nor heard anything from Gamestop about my Preorder shipping or anything. If these are hitting stores Why in the...calm down.
Why have mine not shipped yet? If they are in stores then preorders should be getting sent out. That is all that I am saying.

I really REALLY want these really REALLY bad and I have been very patient. I would just like my stuff like I ordered. That is all. Very Frustrating. (Slow Breathing).

I'd assume the distributor is shipping them to stores and to GS's warehouses at the same time. So stores are getting them now just as the warehouses are.

The street date isn't until next week or two. The store probably put them up early and maybe the warehouse will stick to the street date and send them next week.

You waited this long, what's another week or two!

I wanted to point out that just because they were found in store does not mean anyone was allowed to buy them. Lately I have noticed that if there is a street date in their system/app the price tags usually have the street date printed on them and will not allow the cashier to actually sell them. I have heard in a few cases that the store manager can override this, but I think it takes some really weird steps in order to do that like preordering it in store, paying in full, and then once the date gets there they process that it was picked up.

I personally have on more than one occasion tried to purchase a marvel legends they had on their shelf only to be told that the system will not allow them to sell it due to the street date.

The street date on these is 2/6 so calm down everyone. NECA even posted on their twitter account they were surprised gamestop put these out early because of the 2/6 date.

As far as gamestop not letting you know, especially if you picked the "super saver free shipping" method, don't expect any updates for a bit. That shipping option definitely will not get you these anywhere close to release date.

But what you can do, is if you paid with paypal like I did, you can check and see if you have a pending authorization charge. I had one back when I first placed the order, but it fell off a few months later. But just yesterday I noticed its back. So they must be prepping people orders.

Went to my Gamestop last night, they only got 3 sets in (mine and 2 other preorders) and they were street-dated for the 6th. Looked on Ebay and people are gouging the hell out of these figures already...

Seeing Gamestop cancelled a bunch of people's pre-orders, which is the reason I don't pre-order anything at Gamestop. Looks like they oversold pre-orders again. They have a bad habit of doing that. Checked and no Philly area store is going to have them in stock outside of pre-orders. So hopefully there's another production run on these.
