We went to target today and saw one peg to hold TMNT figures, nothing else but that one peg. And the only figure on that peg was one lonely Donatello figure with bad paint apps.

Anyone able to hook me up with a set of the Modern Basics before I'm tempted to just buy all the classics from my LCS. The basics aren't out in Canada yet.

they are too small for the arms, though i bet some tubing could be fitted there along with maybe a ooze canister for his back or something

Do the heads pop off on the new turtles? I really dig the sculpt on Donatello and want to make him a Leo.

They pop off, but I don't think the ball/socket size is the same on all of them. Might have to modify.

They are growing on me, but still waiting to see in hand pics of the classics before I make up my mind.

I say get both,... the new style figures are what $9 each that's $40 for the set of 4. The classics for the most part have been found online and at lcs and are $20-30 a piece making the classics line $80-120 to complete. unless you order a case or group of 4. Personally I want the 4 new turtles to basically do what Ersico already did, maybe a bit more darker, but still TMNT. I'm tempted to get the van, but space is very limited here.

Was in the area so I popped in TRU Tuesday and scored a Donetello because he was the last TMNT figure they had. Awesome figure don't get me wrong but I was really hoping for a Raph. When are these things supposed to hit places other than TRU?

So I bought myself a Kraang today and noticed two more ball joints on the sides of the android body. Anyone know if this guy was originally meant to have two more arms on him?

Some people have found them at Target. There's no real street date, but some people have reported that stores told them they'll be on shelves in August.

Does his existing arms fit on those ball joints?

Leo and Don use the same ball/socket neck joint. I switched the heads on mine as a test and they worked fine.

I have found them at both TRU and Target. The Targets around me just went through an aisle reset and moved a bunch of older stuff to a clearance aisle, then put out a ton of new stuff including TMNT. Pretty much everything in the modern line was there, aside from the playset of course.

I believe someone else in another thread said no, that they were too small to be used as secondary joints for his existing arms.

Caved and bought all four turtles, Splinter and Shredder yesterday at Target.

What I really want is the classics, though. Once I get the classics I might just give the new ones to my nephew for his birthday since I'm not too thrilled with what I'm seeing so far in pictures.
