Chicagoans looking for the TMNT ... I found some at Target on W 33rd St and Damen off of I-55. It had a few of the turtles, splinter and shredder. Not sure about the others. I just picked up myself a Leonardo.

Oh man... saw these for the first time at Target yesterday and they looked great. Don't really care about articulation and what not... they just looked great... so damn nostalgic.

Can't start buying ninja turtles though... pretty much done with buying Joes and wrapping up my MU buying. The finish line is so near.

Hey guys I have been hearing that the eyes on the Classics are all kinds of FUBAR'd, can someone tell me exactly what happened and how the eyes are supposed to look?

I might have to try that.
I hand painted all the weapons for now. Before I did though, Mikey's nunchuks were starting to show stress marks from storing them in his belt. The silver is hiding it now, but real chains would make them look epic like your picture shows. Plus I love how it makes them look and allows better play interaction.

People are talking about the black/pupil part of the eyes being off. It's just a black circle of paint on the white part of the eye, but if they aren't centered it can look like they're cross-eyed.. or like Steve Buscemi in Mr. Deeds.

Everyone is making these looks so nice with custom paint jobs I really need to start working on that. It can't be that hard once you get all the right tools and paints, right?

very simple. black paint and a 10/0 brush and some water. long smooth line strokes. use thumb to wipe off exess paint

Yeah I, noticed that too. I'm in the process of doing the chain fix that was posted. Very helpful post btw. Bought the chains from michaels and I'm putting the finishing touches on the repainted weapons.

Looks good. Mine are almost done.

Another upgrade to shredder. I gave my girlfriend a project to give him a cape. I'm happy with the results. She did a good job. I joked and said her next project is to give him knee joints, lol.
Made out of felt and is semi poseable.

Grrrr... Target in Omaha has pegs up for the basic figures, but only Turtles they have out are the sound FX ones, the van, the skateboard, and the cycle... no classics... no basics... no foot ninja cycle... :P the empty pegs are mocking me...
