If you have the TMNT movie figures from... 07? The Skateboard that came with that Mike fits these turtles as well. Same foot pegs.

Metalhead is a must for me. The gimped articulation doesn't bother me, at all. Though the apparent lack of gun-hand and antennae is a little disappointing.

Dogpound...I'll most likely be passing on. Like Fishface, his on-show characterization could sway me. Though DP here is much less likely than FF...

It's good to know that there are skateboards out there that'll work for the Nick Turtles. Once I get a Mikey I might just give him the skateboard from my old Mikey figure. Unless I'm able to find that old Mikey...not really sure what happened to him, but he might be in my parent's attick, lol.... That said, I'm hoping Nick releases an in-scale skateboard with one of their variants on the Turtles. Then again I might just pick-up some tech deck boards for them, lol...

I need Metalhead! He was my favorite figure from the "G1" Turtle line next to my Storage Shell Raph!

eriku on TFW found metalhead: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 - Page 198 - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards

Read on past that post for some pics.

He looks good. Articulation is better than some of the line, but not as good as the turtles.

Wow so i guess it's confirmed available at mass retail now. time to start hunting again. Would be hard to sort through all the other stuff on the pegs though since there is so much product out already and target is discounting them

I love the "shell".

His feet are hollow.

The tampo prints on his forearms are nicely done, especially the yellow arrow. It looks weathered.

Sorry for the pic quality. I took them quickly and in poor lighting since you guys are so impatient.

Very cool pics of metalhead Ersico. I can't wait to see if you'll touch up the paint on him like you did with the turtles.

Love the design on metalhead, but the no elbows and blast arm really kills it for me.

May have to pass afterall.

It would look sick if you were to make 4 metalhead based turtles, with junkyard based weapons.

I was thinking that the other day, I would grab 5 or 6 lol, 4 to make into turtles, 1 to keep moc and 1 unaltered to play with, muhahah, or just 1 depending on how distribution is. still need me some classic turtles sometime.

Wait...Metalhead is built by Don this time around. Odd. Wonder if his programming becomes corrupt or so?!

Still leaning on the fence but, maybe I'll pick up once I see one in person.

I looked today, didn't see any of the new turtles, saw the classics, $19.99 each, too hard to pick 1, and don't have enough $$ to buy all 4, so left them for now. Still debating about picking up Shredder and foot soldiers.

2012 TMNT Dogpound Review | The Daytime Ninja

Dogpound review. The lack of paint apps KILLS IT for me, articulation aside.

No straps on the shin or on the body are painted, no spikes on the ark and the back piece is all white, no fur or straps painted.

The poor paint apps on Dogpound definitely killed my interest in the toy, especially that back piece. I had no problems with none of the weapons on the current figures being painted, but come on, that piece is a part of his body! Plus it's irritating that the straps are unpainted, and also - correct me if I'm wrong - but based on the image on the back of his card, isn't his right hand supposed to be white like the rest of his claws? It seems like that hand is almost entirely bone or spike, sort of like a Resident Evil tyrant.

Yeah, I didn't even notice that. His right hand should be bone colored.

Wow Dogpound is a toss for me. I might get metalhead and cut my losses for the rest of the line.

Metalhead is starting to grow on me. Might end up getting him so the turtles have their maid.

Dogpound is a tough call though. I might get him for my Motion Revive Kamen Rider shelf. They need some monsters that aren't Cobra from GI Joe, customs, or Imagins.
