The $59.99 was in the press release. I guess Amazon tacked on a couple more.

You'd think "The Bad Batch Special 4-Pack" would consist of the Bad Batch. Ha ha.

So was this set ever available? Because now it says "Temporarily out of stock.", I'll keep checking hopefully it'll come back in stock later.

How the hell is this already sold out? Make to preorder toy companies. This is what the indies do, so you should too. Already got screwed out of Power-Con MOTU Origins crap because of limited quantities on their site and BBTS (and PowerCon show runner says Mattel flat out refuses to make more because I guess they don't like money), and now this.

Well, there was this weird trick of adding to wishlist and be able to preorder before it went officially online. I got one like with this; no idea how many others did too.

Another Amazon exclusive I'll never get. Even when I DO get a pre-order in, it gets cancelled months later with no explanation.

When has Amazon ever canceled toy preorders? That's Walmart's terrible trend, but I've never had that experience with Amazon.

It happened to me once when the Hiya Predators were first rolling out. I pre-ordered a City Hunter that got canceled I guess because they never got them in stock or something.

Because all these characters are associated with the show, and Hasbro could quickly put this set out first since it's just a bunch of easy repaints of existing tooling. I'm sure we're getting a proper release of the actual Bad Batch crew in the TVC line eventually, but all of them would require brand new sculpts and take longer to produce.
