So you basically have to buy both and mix them together?

Wait, there is more than one version of Shredder?

Depends on what all you want out of a Shredder figure. The second version they did was a lot more accurate to the show, but even though it had knee articulation, I don't think I've ever seen a photo of it standig up normally. He always seems to be in some weird wide-legged stance. Though the second one also has a removable helmet.

Well, if you count the SDCC version from last year, that added chrome to the armor of the second Shredder sculpt, there are actually three.

It's less accurate, and lacks knee articulation, but I'm still really happy with the first one they did.

I have all three listed in my Archive. The links are in my signature. Just type in Shredder and his figures will show up.

Dr. Kain, nice comic turtle pics. I had given up on this line but I really like the look of these, can't wait to pick them up. How did you do Leo's sheath in some pics?
Plus, when do the TRU comic Leo and Mikey with packed in comics come out? I was going to skip basic Leo and Mikey for the comic ones, but if it will take forever I might just skip it and get the normal ones.

I just stuck the swords in the back of his belt. They easily fit in them.

Just saw this post on the TMNT FB page. Saying they will be out in November. Anyone know the other figs coming out, or are these the only two? *Walmart Exclusives as well*

Unless they changed things, they'll only be exclusive to Walmart for a month or so. Other stores should get them in, it's just that Walmart is getting them first.

That's exactly why I said what I did. Til they are in wide release as much wanted as these two are, the scalpers will have a field day.

The Walmart near me plain sucks when it comes to getting new figures in. I have to drive 30 minutes away to look in 2 other Wallys which usually come through for me...I'd prefer them to be Target exclusives since they seem to stock better, at least for me locally

Went to TRU today, they had at least 3 Tiger Claws showing, I didn't look through them all. And had a bunch of the Comic turtles with the included comic book. Also noticed a 4 foot tall Mikey on sale for $70. It did look pretty cool. I wish they had a Donnie as well...

Anyone spotting the Bebop and Rocksteady Wally exclusives? Should be any time now if they are sticking to the Nov date...

Noticed they have "new" figures pictured on the Playmates webpage. Serpent Karai, Baxter Fly, Mikey Turflytle, And Mystic turtles. Can't say I am a fan of the Mystic variants, here they are if you haven't seen them yet though:

Ok guys, I'm a huge MU collector, in the wake of the recent Hasbro drought I started collecting TMNT figures again (I also collected them in the 80's when I was a kid). I was pleasantly surprised to find every figure within a few months! an I now watch the show with my Daughter. I'm wondering what new characters from the current season are you most excited to see in action figure form?
for me it's a toss up between The Creep, and Napoleon bona-frog.

Might be the Punk Frogs if they ever upload the bloody episode for me to confirm.

I think April's "mom" would be super awesome.

So far none of the new characters introduced this season though have confirmed to get figures :|

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Colossal 48 inch Michelangelo Figure | ToysRUs

has anyone else picked one of these up? I got one for my kids on the TRU website, after seeing it in a store and thinking I'd grab it on the way out... it was of course gone by then. I'm hoping they do the other turtles.

I was so close to getting one last weekend. There were a few things that bummed me out about the one in the store I was looking at though. There were scratch marks all over it. And almost like stress lines in the plastic like they were being bent out of place. The parts where they snap and hold together were coming undone~like you could see into the middle of the body. And when I moved the arms up to pose him they would just slide down again by themselves.

I am not sure if they are all like this, or just the one I was looking at in store. I do wish they made all the turtles because Donnie is my fav. But I think Mikey is the only version they are doing

Anyway, that aside, yes, I love these guys:

Great pics, but I gotta ask (and anyone can answer this): Why do they look like someone drove a bicycle over their faces? It really put me off to the figures when I saw them in the store yesterday.

I saw that in one of the Sunday paper ads. Looked like a great gift for a youngster that's into TMNT.

I got my colossal Michelangelo in the mail today, it's pretty awesome. when you order online it comes in a factory shipping box mine has good paint an no damage or stress marks. It's not quite as sturdy as a regular action figure, but it's not quite as flimsy as a light up Santa yard ornament. all in all I'm pleased with the quality. added bonus, the shell opens up, so it'll probably end up being some extra toy storage. I think my kids are going to love it.
