Love these so much- i have no care at all on what monster is what turtle, that just seems like a weird thing to care about- but fans are gonna fan-boy and what matters to me, etc etc etc... These so far just look way too good to pass up for any reason!

Kinda lame that he has a nice long goatee in the box art but it didn't make it to the final figure...

I generally agree but given the theme that they've already set up here if anyone other than Donnie were Dr Frankenstein then that would be weird. Donnie doesn't have to be Dr Frankenstein but if any of the other three were then that would have me scratching my head.

I reckon the shadowy chaps may be Bebop as invisible man and Rocksteady as Van Helsing

April as the Bride is a gimme, but I'm seeing Splinter as Van Helsing, and Donnie as Claude Rains' Invisible Man, complete with tufts of hair from a wig under the bandages?

Couldn’t have said it better. Leo’s my favorite turtle and I’m a little disappointed with the character choice for this mash-up.

Awww dammit! I told myself I wasn't bothering with any of these, but then I see Leo's shell can pen up to hold all of his gak, and that's effin' cool. Argh!

I bought Raphael from a local comic book shop (Third Eye Comics), pre-ordered Leonardo and Michelangelo online. They look so cool! I wonder what my favorite turtle (Donatello) will be! I know one theory is The Invisible Man. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

I think it's more than just a theory since there's the shadowy tease of a turtle wrapped and wearing goggles/glasses. I'm thinking that he might not be strictly limited to the Invisible Man though, like how for Leonardo they combined the Hunchback and Ygor, Donnie might also get some touches of Dr Frankenstein rolled in for a general mad scientist theme.

Thank you both. I have to say, I'm not at all familiar with the Invisible Man. I'll have to remedy that. I know y'all said it could be other options but this seems a likely fit.

I didn’t really want to watch Invisible Man at first. When I was done watching all the other classic monster movies it was a last resort. I WAS SO AMAZED. It was a huge stand out. Maybe my favorite of all the classics. The performance of the invisible man in unrivaled. The editing is neat and uptempo. Next thing you know it’s over and you wish you got more. 10/10

I'm a lifelong fan of HG Wells' books and have likewise always been fond of Claude Rains' Invisible Man in the 1933 movie. The short version of the original story is that a scientist turns himself invisible and quickly finds himself freed of inhibitions since he believes he won't be held accountable for his deeds because nobody can see him. His crimes as well as his egomania grow until he is finally found out and killed.

Thanks for the info! I hope they reveal it soon (likely it will be the invisible man like suggested) I hope they won't announce April's likely Bride of Frankenstein before that. April's ok and all, with the 2003 version as my personal favorite-87 one tends to be too needy in my opinion-but it shouldn't be too much to ask that all the turtles are revealed first as it's named "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ," not "April and her ninja crew" lol

Well, as annoyed as I am with April being released before Donatello (seriously. . . . Release all the turtles THEN the supporting characters) she looks good.

Needs to be a bit scarier or something. I swear they used the crappy knee design for this too?

I know they don't have much choice, as the Bride of Frankenstein's the only notable female character in the Universal Monsters. However, wouldn't this make April Raphael's bride?

Still waiting on ANY reveal/tease for their plans for Hammer Horror. It's been a year and a half since they announced they had the license. Sigh....
