Batman ('89)
Superman
V for Vendetta

Hellboy II
Sin City

I don't really consider TFs a 'comic' movie as it was a multimedia push from the get go. Enjoyed it though; looking forward to RotF. I also hope Watchmen is good enough to bump something off the above list.

Watchmen will be visually fantastic, but I think it's just going to do too many things to appeal to the average movie-goer that prevent Snyder from really hitting the film out of the park.

From the Watchmen trailer I first saw with the Dark Knight, it looked like it was ripped right from the comic pannels. I'm know things will be changed, but I bet it's still going to be cool.

You're probably right. I just hope Rorschach's angry monologues about the liberals and politicians are at least the only thing spot on... Cause in the previews he isn't saying the same things :P

It's gonna get an R Rating right? Might as well call them a bunch of whores and get it over with.

No worries. I think part of the intent behind this forum is to generate discussion about the lists that get posted, so it's all good.

Oh, and nice list, too.

It's hard for me to get down to just comic films because of The Dark Knight and Begins(even though Bats is a comic film, because of how good it is I feel it's unfair to compare to say, Iron Man which is just as brilliant in its own way)... But here is my list to keep on topic.

1. Iron Man(Let's face it, compared to Dark Knight, Iron Man is the straight comic movie)
2. The Dark Knight
3. Batman Begins
4. The Road to Perdition(I do think it's worth making the list)
5. Sin City
6. The Rockateer(Added after reading Veidt's post!)
7. The Punisher(Tom Jane... There is no other)
8. V For Vendetta
9. Hellboy II
10. Hellboy

Honorable Mention: Nick Fury, Agent of Shield... Whatever it was called. The one with The Hoff. That movie kicks my ass!

1. Transformers (2007, and soon probably 2009 to this list too)
2. IronMan
3. Spiderman
4. X-Men Origins Wolverine
5. Captain America (91)
6. Generation X
7. X-Men
8. X2
9. The Marvel Animated Movie-verse collection (Invincible Ironman, Ultimates, ultimates 2, doctor strange, Hulk VS. I like them all about equally.)
10. WatchMen/BlackPearl
And who didn't quite make the cut...
11. Hulk (edward norton version)
12. Nick Fury (90s fox hasselhoff one)
13. Lady Death the animated movie
14. Chasing Amy (Poor Kevin Smithm well at least he cameo'ed in Daredevil who made the list...)
15. Daredevil (D'Oh!)

Not sure I can choose 10 but the ones I felt that were very well done are as follows...

Batman
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Iron Man
Spiderman
V for Vendetta
Hellboy
Superman

And I will give X-Men an honorable mention.

Keeping in mind that very few are "accurate" and all have both good points and bad, my choices would be:
1. Iron Man
2. Hulk{Norton, 08 version, there is no other}
3. Wolverine
4. Hulk vs.
5. Ghost Rider
6. Dark Knight
7. Ultimate Avengers 1 and 2
8. Animated Dr. Strange
9. Hellboy
10. Punisher Warzone

Tim Burton's batman rates on my list which I forgot to add, but honestly until they portray batman right (ie as world's greatest detective) none of his movies will grace my list. Not even Nolan's. Keaton 4-ever!
