I 1st posted this in Wanted Items & have had no feedback. Reposting here, as I see no way to move the posts. I hope I am not violating any rules.
I have a set of toy plastic bricks. My grandmother gave them to me for Christmas, about 1960. I have never seen any others like them nor had any of my friends growing up. Near life size, about 6x3 inches. Notches on top & matching indentations on bottom for good stacking. I stiil have 20 some. Original set was probably 3 dozen or so. See pic. Has anyone else ever seen these? My sister thinks they came from Sears. I have not yet found any searchable online catalogs from that time. Still looking for them. |

If you're looking to get more info on the toy, you'll have better luck with this in our "ID This Toy" section. Moved.
As to the question at hand, I've never seen them before personally. Is there any copyright information stamped somewhere on any of the bricks, such as a manufacturer, location or year? That would help narrow down the search criteria.

7 years later, I have still learned nothing about these. I know they were not 1 of a kind but apparently, I got the only set sold in my region.

Now 2022 & I’ve never found info on my bricks from any source. Maybe the 1 set was made just for me. LOL.

At long last, someone on another forum located some of these on E Bay. They are Art Linkletter preschool toys. They had a series of building type toys.
