Not entirely sold on GL and Flash, they're not among my favorites, but I want Batman, Batgirl, and Wonder Woman. Those are neat!

WTF is up with that Green Lantern? Both he and the Flash look horrible.

Wonder Woman, however, she looks awesome. I don't collect this scale, but I may have to pick her up.

I think Flash'd be pleased to see that he has the biggest junk out of all of them. I have to wonder if the future paint job on Flash will try to draw attention AWAY from his super-powered codpiece.

Again, going after Batman, Batgirl, and Wonder Woman. Only disappointment I have with Wonder Woman is that it looks like the Lasso of Truth is her only real weapon. And I have no idea what accessories those little bits are.

I am pretty sure that entire new DC line went an had sex with Evangelion and Zone of the Enders and these figures are the offspring.

Evangelion was the first thing that came to mind upon seeing Flash. That and "My god, Wally West is packing."

EDIT: I hope that we see a colored prototype for Batgirl soon, and I sure hope that it's the red-haired Barbara Gordon. Nothing against Stephanie or Cassandra(who this figure obviously is NOT), but always preferred Babs.

Aside from the tubesock he has stuffed down his pants, I actually think the Flash design looks pretty cool.

I kinda dig the crazy anime GL guy, too. And yeah, it's a dude. It's just that anime, pretty boy, type of dude.

That Batman is just bad ass...I've yet to have the money to buy a play arts fig and the list of the ones I want just keeps getting bigger...*Sob*

For some reason Wonder woman's boots remind me of the legs off of Samus' power suit,(Metroid) only with high heels.

Now, are these based on a comic design, or is this basically the result of someone saying to Square-Enix "Go crazy with these characters"? And I'm surprised that Batgirl is the 5th character and not Superman. Not that I'm complaining mind you.

I believe these are just Square-Enix reimaginings of Dc characters. Which is cool. I always like to see stuff like this.

It is odd, now that you mention it, that there is no Superman here.

And anime boobs. Seriously pal, this is SQUARE-ENIX. Not only is it a Japanese company, it's a Japanese company that's made a living making very anime-esque video games. Any figures that they make that they're allowed to go crazy with are going to have an anime style to them.

I haven't wanted any Play Arts Kai but, I think I'll have to get Batman and Wonder Woman. I just love their designs.

Because Capcom licensed the Devil May Cry series TO Square Enix.

Square Enix makes the Play Arts Kai toys.

I had no idea that thing Batman was holding was a sword. Cool! Wonder Woman looks good.

I want some of these figures, especially Batman and the DKR figures, BUT I am wary of qc...problems in this line are sporadic.

The MGS ones look good, looking forward to MGS2 Raiden and Revengeance Raiden.

You just have to look at BroShep and FemShep to see that, the difference in those is like night and day. Or crap and gold, as the case may be. I have hopes for these though. They're really neat interpretations of some of my favorite DC characters.

EDIT: I sure hope that they've started including stands again because I'm seeing Wonder Woman and Batgirl being really unstable with those high heels. How they can go crimefighting in those is beyond me.

Raiden MGS2, Liquid, Ivy, Harley Quinn, Vincent FF7 AC... take my money and shut up, please?.

The QC problems on the PAKs line are an horror, I collect them (I buy two or three at month), I hate duplicated feet, when this happens you can't make anything. On 26 paks I have, It happens to me two times (Ninja Cyborg and Kazuhira Miller with two left feet... lol), and Kratos came with a limb broken (and a missing blade...). The next issues always are very tiny things, like spots on the painting or a stuck balljoint (the hair-dry magic combo always helps XD). But overall I'm very happy with the Play Arts Kai line. Well... every line of PVC figures has QC issues, bad paint apps or stuck balljoints, it's typical.

Those DC reimaginings are mostly cool. Green Lantern is a easy miss, but that effect part is really nice and vibrant. Much better than usual over painted effects parts you get from PAK figures. Wonder Woman is awesome. So is Poison Ivy and Harley. But, like Kaz mentioned, the QC issues really have to be sorted before I but any of those those

Those DC Variant figures are just . . .WOW! I don't know what the quality of the figures is like because I don't collect any of the Square Enix figures, but the Anime style designs are just insane. The particular look of them is not just Anime, but seem to be a very old school Anime style, from days of the "Guyver" and "Tekkaman Blade", so the coolness factor is way up there. I haven't bought any Japanese figures in a while but I may have to look into getting these.

DC alts look awesome!!! Love the sleek but jutting and refined mecha/metalworks detailed look they went for.

I don't collect this scale, but I might have to reconsider for Flash and batgirl and wonder woman.

DAMNIT. I was going to ignore the Play Arts stuff because my Sam Gideon didn't turn out so good. But that Batman and Wonder Woman are incredible.
